M.Seidam
Pre drive info This Drive is an ideal for an intermediate level and i believe can be the ultimate one for what a fewbie plus level can crave for after a fine adjustments attainable for the level off course. In this drive we will be crossing a long distance making a semi loop of three quarter almost, starting from Murqab heading east and south east crossing dunes which varies from low/medium to high ones at some times leaving the highly technical patches on both sides as we progress ,and across Faqa ( west part long range dunes , away from the eastern part which is close to AD boarder) and back toward solar running over long sabkhas but still in times clearing up some technical sections connecting them. if we are lucky we might pick up few sidys at little sweihan before we end up in Solar park our intended last destination where we exit there. please pay attention to the following points : Please come to the drive with full tank as this drive is long in distance and fine in performance ( no need for a extra fuel ) make sure that your vehicle is in its best condition with all the lubes and fluids checked ahead. Check your off road gear as well as your recovery points integrity please, the last thing we want , God forbidden , a tow point failure in case of difficult recovery situation. make sure your radio is fully charged , keeping a fully charged spare one the better Such long dives with various maneuvers at times may induce a motion sickness for some individuals. so please make a choice to select who can come as a passenger and who can stay home 😊 Be prepared of about an hour time buffer of extended time . last but not least , if all goes ok and according to plan and excellent response , and to spark an adrenaline in you from now , we may be able to close the ring and end in Murqab again.😅 This drive is organized in full compliance with the COVID19 guidelines. We expect every member that joins this drive to go through below information and strictly follow these guidelines in order not to jeopardize someone's health, and to ensure we can keep organizing these drives safely. Popular Post Davie Chase
@M.Seidam Thankyou once again for organizing, planning and leading such a great drive this morning, we encountered a myriad of different terrains and challenges, so once again a fantastic learning experience, moreover, a superb way to spend Saturday morning with a great bunch of people @Ashok chaturvedi thanks for a great S/L always enjoy being in convoys with you. and a great CW and sweep from @Rizwanand @Pacific, the rest of the team played well together supporting the couple of digs we had in true Carnity spirt with everyone pitching in. More importantly, the banter was brilliant, looking forward to the bar-B-Q lol, but not the consequence of said Bar-B-Q , so probably best we shelve that idea. @Waqas Parvez @Vaibhav @topgear @Mohamad Anwer @Naveen Raj @Gregory @Tareck have a great rest of your week end guys really enjoyed it today and see you all in the sand pit very soon. 8 1
Vaibhav
@M.SeidamThank you for the wonderful experience. We had a mixture of every single bit of off-roading skills to learn today. Rains and strong winds have changed the face of the desert but you took us through it. @Ashok chaturvediGood job as 2nd lead and always on the radio keeping us alert of the challenges. @Rizwanm2Good job on the CF and always quick to be on location where help was needed. @PacificSince everyone drove well you did have less task as a sweep. Please sure driving with @Waqas Parvez@topgear@Mohamad Anwer@Naveen Raj@Gregory@Tareck. Hope to see you soon on the sand. 5 1
