  1. Very late drive report.

We had a pleasant time. Area was not a preferred area for me. I am known as Fossil Rock guy but i found the area very nice. We found a lot of long range dunes to make sideys. I splashed so much sand that all my interior was covered with sand.

At the beginning unfortunately Jon hit his bumper and we observed water leaking. Luckily it was just a washer fluid tank not the radiator. After a check on the car all looked good and we continue our journey. Than on a sidey i hit to a small bump and i had pop out. Big help from Anand and Shaaz we were able to fix in minutes. After sometime we found our self in to some technical dunes and we decide not to waste time and drove back out from that. This time Anand had a pop out that was an easy fix as well. Paul and Jack got crested on one technical dune but it is very well sorted by the team. We continue driving and found some sweet dunes to do even more sidey. In this time Nihal got crested on one dune but that was also easy recovery. Overall it was a smooth good pace drive.

Thank you all for your attendance and you all are awesome. Special thanks to @Mehmet Volga @Anand Nataraj and @Shaaz Sha for their effort on every possible time. See you all next time.

@sertac Just saw the drive was cancelled 😞. What would be the minimum nr of people...? No chance to re- open the drive, maybe more people would be interested since Monday...?

Hi Christian less number is something but real reason was i had to take over another drive at same time. For a drive normally bare min is 3 person.

I almost did but then the seller backed out and decided to keep it. After that I almost got a 2005 model but then decided against it.

I've decided to get at least a 2012 or preferably newer, and am hunting for a good one now again. Here's hoping I'll soon be part of the Jeep community.

Going above 2012 is wise choice.

  5. One of my friend sold 2 cars lately due to leaving the country. One is sold by Dubizzle and other Carswitch. He told me that Carswitch checked everything about the car and gave the report and dubizzle just checked quickly and uncarefully and gave the report.

  7. I believe that this is an amazing platform for off roading. Proper chasis underneath, solid axle, diff lock. Sometimes companies offers one engine at the beginning and another options follow later on. If they put the 3.5 on this than we will have a new champ on the city. I guess 3.5 Nissan engine is 306hp. With a front bumper + skid plate you will have a off road ready machine. I hope this is not me being optimistic. I hope to see that 3.5 under the hood by next year model.

  8. Trip report.

Today was a smooth drive. We didn`t had any major stuck or any technical issue. We needed to use the rope only 2 times. Thanks to @Mehmet Volga and @Arda Yagcioglu those situations handled well.

Path between start point to Fossil rock was bit bushy. OMG this desert became a forest now. Once we reached to the Fossil Rock it was the sunrise. We had beautiful pictures and nice view to watch. After 5 min of break at Fossil Rock we start moving again. Sand formation on the Fossil Rock wouldn`t let us pass to the other side. Actually there was no sand at all, so we went around that. We start heading to the Bowl before the Faya. Man that was fun, everyone pushed their cars to the limit.

While we were at the bowl @Jose Martin`s radio battery start alarming for charge. In this point we replaced the sweep position between Jose and Arda. With our new sweep we start heading to the famous Faya. We had some nice rolling dunes and finally we reached to Faya. There we met with @Vanessa8580, @Nivin and rest of their convoy. We were lucky that Vanessa was having spare radio and we landed it to Jose. Everyone made their attempted to the climb. I was impressed with everyone`s climb.

After Faya we start heading to 2nd December area. On the way we noticed that Mehmet`s flag was missing. EVen he went back to find it but he wasn`t lucky. Since he lost his flag we made another change on the convoy. Now Arda became CF and Mehmet took the Sweep position. On our wasy we came across with huge camel group. One of the camel get too close to us to get some petting :D We had nice pictures and moment to remember. After that we had some sideys and left the area safely.

Thank everyone for the drive and hope to see you again.
