  1. First time at Iftar Bowl and I can say it was the most complicated terrain that I have driven on; or is it how all Fewbie Plus drives go about? I guess it was probably the terrain because of the sheer amount of refusals that the drivers faced; but it only helped them improve at points where they lacked.

@Wrangeld, you threw many challenges at us, which we absolutely loved and we also learned that its not just about whats packed under the hood but rather about the driver's skills.

@Luca Palanca Falsini You had a lot of shepherding to do today but you managed it without breaking a sweat. (BTW, do you happen to have a V8 swapped under your hood?😂😂)

@Ahab Shamaa, Initially I thought your winch was just going be sitting on your bumper, rusting, but its quite a useful tool as we saw today😂. Perhaps your investment didnt go down in vain 😂.

@DANIEL NOGUEIRA Sad to see someone going through the same experience that I did a couple of weeks ago, hope it wasnt anything serious and the RAM would make it back on sand in no time.

P.S   Thanks @Gaurav for your assistance in getting us all out of a tricky situation.

I’m going to get stuck on every dune of this drive, and call on you rescue me (lots of work), unless of course you release the drone video you shot of us a few weeks back 🤣 I’m telling, I might even have a pop out, and we’d have to use you extensive mobile Speedex shop

I love your ‘Positive’ spirit for the drive 🤣

Now @Lorenzo Candelpergher might consider placing you in Gaurav’s convoy 😂

  3. Drive Report Convoy #2

First of all, thanks to @Ale Vallecchi & @Gaurav for giving us a chance to conquer a new terrain, a rather different one.

As informed by @Gaurav, hats off to @Ale Vallecchi and @Wrangeld for exploring and presenting us with such an amazing route. The route accommodated some of the most beautiful landscape sceneries that I have seen.

It starts off easy and simple, but becomes more complicated as we make our way up some of the very tall dunes, but all the drivers handled it like pros. We barely spent any time on refusal recoveries and were able to spend more time driving (and waiting for camels to cross the tracks 😜).

@Gaurav, as expected, did an awesome job leading and presenting us with different challenges, for us to understand the sand and our cars better.

@Niki Patel nailed the role of a 2nd lead by keeping a safe distance from the Marshal and rerouting the convoy when required.

@Ahab Shamaa kept the tail of the convoy in order and assisted some refusal recoveries. The fact that everyone at the back made it to the end point, shows you did your job well 😂.

@DANIEL NOGUEIRA, seemed like you really missed your Dodge today 😂, hope you get it back asap.

@Ale Vallecchi @Gaurav Also thanks for the little surprise at the end for the Fewbies, it further enhanced the thrill. The sand was very soft throughout the route, yet we got no refusals or stucks. Well done everyone 👏🏼.

  4. Today’s morning was a cold one, with 16 degrees celsius outside, all drivers assembled at the meeting point, full of energy and passion for the drive.

Special thanks to @Frederic for fixing the transfer case linkage and saving a beautiful morning from being ruined. A tow truck would be on its way if it wasn’t for you buddy 😂.

The drive was fast paced with tons of technical dunes to conquer, which really tested the driver’s control on their car and their concentration on the path ahead.

@Atif bhai did a great job recovering fellow drivers out of ‘stuck’ position. We also had the pleasure to assist in recovering your car as well 😂

    It was a fun day..!

  5. @Foxtrot Oscar & @Ale Vallecchi Thanks a lot for the drive, it was fun while it lasted 😂. Additional thanks to @DANIEL NOGUEIRA @Malachy McGrogan  @Rizwanm2 & @Arda Yagcioglu for their assistance in getting the Wrangler out of that nasty bowl with only 2 wheels spinning 😬.

About the Wrangler, well, we had a Leaking front differential in addition to a Broken front drive shaft, so no share of power for the front axle. We left the car over at the mechanic’s, hopefully it will be back within 2 days.

@DANIEL NOGUEIRA Sad to hear about what happened today, hopefully there wont be any issue while retrieving the car from the dunes.
