  1. Fun drive! Really enjoy my first time driving in Badayir and Faya, (yes I know surprising, I’ve been a passenger in these areas before and camped here but never drove my own car) learned a lot about my car and what she can do. Hope I exceeded expectations as CF @Luca Palanca Falsini @Frederic and hope I was helpful to everyone in the convoy! Weather was beautiful in the morning, sand was amazing and it was a very good drive!

See you all next time inshallah!

@sheri get rid of that pressure gauge you have and go for a deflator and gauge (it’s 2 in 1) you can get them in analog or digital.

Great job to all the Newbies!

@Nivin I had to keep up with Richards drifting skills, to show not only small cars can drift in the sand 😂

You are all confirmed for the drive on Friday. What's the plan? We will start on a long track where I will give you a briefing as we make our way to the entry point to the Lisali dunes. There is another way, that involves crossing some treacherous technical dunes  - but we will not venture into those dunes this time round.

Once we hit the Lisali dunes, it's fun fun fun all the way. Big wide dunes, drops, descents, climbs, ridges - it's got it all, so be preapred for a quite fast pace and some challenges for your new newbie experience book.

Any questons, please let myself and @Nivin who is supporting, this drive know.

See you soon in the sand.

When Richard says no technical dunes it doesn't mean there aren't any, its means the probability of tackling them has decreased 🤣

Cant wait to be in sweep :)

  4. Hello @Foxtrot Oscar imp confirmed for @Wrangeld (newbie) morning drive and your drive since there was space in either drive, do I still need to be waitlisted to have 2 drives or is it ok since its late in the week?

If I need to be waitlisted then id like to make this my primary drive for that day.

Late join again, didn't know if i'd have a car this weekend 🤣

Thank you @Wrangeld for a wonderful drive, had some early stucks at the back due to some refusals/stucks ahead of me, where I found myself in a very soft sand (all churned up) but thanks to @Kalahari who was very helpful and showed some patience with me.. allowing me to get back in rhythm and concentrate on my drive... in this drive for the 1st time I felt the challenge of driving at the back of a convoy (credit to the soft sand churned up more than ever) but having @Jeandre Bezuidenhout as our CF and @Kalahari (keeping an eagle eye on the convoy 👍) gave a lot of confidence and allowed us to focus on the drive, Thank you for the amazing work ✌️.

Thank you @Shehab Alawadhi for being at the sweep position and ensuring all the dunes were turned flat, building bridges and ensuring not only that the convoy is following you but also doing it at ease 😂. It is always a pleasure and fun to have you and @armaan together in the drive... both of you add so much more to the fun, Thank you.

Thank you to the rest of the convoy for the support, patience and enthusiasm displayed during the drive... see you all soon in the sand!

Desert driving is about fun and helping others, if people in the back are stuck and I can't get to them ill flatten the dunes ahead so they don't get stuck 🤣

@Wrangeld @Jeandre Bezuidenhout @KalahariThank you for a super drive today!  The trip felt like we were supported by 3 marshals!! I know you didn’t sign up for a workout @Kalahari @Jeandre Bezuidenhout however you left us feeling a complete comfort/confidence at the back of the convoy -thankyou.

I didn’t say much during the whole drive, I was concentrating as the route was challenging and a faster pace for me, however the main reason was I was enjoying the @Shehab Alawadhi and @Arman show!  You two are a gift to any convoy as you both really do make it a laugh the whole ride!

My personal favorites ... @Shehab Alawadhi offering his washboard abs as a jack-board, being branded the bridge maker for his unselfish and consistent flattening of dunes :) and both of them doing pull ups and dips on the TJ as one of the group was being recovered!  ... there were many more hilarious moments and thank you both for the energy and great vibes throughout!

@Wrangeld drives are famed for being technical torture (my motivation for joining them :) ) so massive kudos to @Shehab Alawadhi for being a SL with the boat and managing it with such poise and control... seriously impressive!

I was excited to have a chance to use the ATRAC butting at the beginning of the ride ... it felt like a magic button!!

It was great to be with some old newbie/fewbie friends @Danish Mohammad @N@ved ... And my favorite Jeep has been the TJ so to be sandwiched in the convoy by @Arman and @N@ved made me feel like I was cheating on my FJ at times!

Thanks again @Wrangeld  for what was a challenging, technical, fast and fun ride!

I’ll try and speak up a bit more on future drives :) (and write less)

I’m happy to offer my services when I can 😂. @Arman and I try our best to make everyone laugh and not think about the difficulties of shoveling every now and then.

Thank you @Wrangeld for making me your second lead I hope I did you proud, and I hoped I helped and did everyone else proud in the convoy!

I thought sweep was fun, but being second lead is more so fun to be honest 😂 now I’m in a dilemma, second lead or sweep.
