  1. Dear desert warriors thank you all for joining my drive today I had an absolute blast meeting new friends and seeing old ones and catching up with you all.

Our drive today had a moving time of approx. 2 and a half hours and a stopped time of 1 and a half, we had a beautiful sunrise, fresh virgin sand, camels and a couple of pop outs along with a few refusals and stucks, so we had pretty much everything :)

Our S/L played a blinder, smoothing and polishing my tracks keeping the convoy safe and sound as well as smooth, great job @Gary F

@Haneef Thayyil you drove amazingly well for your first Fb drive, I hope the drive lived up to your expectations and you learnt heaps :) Remember to get your tire checked soonest.

@Cristian you drove brilliantly as always with just a few minor adjustments from Ben following you all good learning. Remember to get your tire checked soonest.

Our C/F @Benjamin was stunning in support and advises throughout the drive well done mate, you are still not getting my pop out champion title (@Frederic a new category for your hall of fame :)) just yet although you came close today, great support, keeping calm and sharing your knowledge with the team, thanks again.

@Alphin Aloor @Joji varghese you both drove fantastically, and it was a pleasure to meet up with you both again, I hope you enjoyed the drive as much as we did.

and our brilliant sweep @Islam Soliman having you in the convoy allowed me to focus on leading and not worry about what was happening at the back, as i go through the learning curve of leading that makes the task a whole lot easier. Thank you and appreciate you joining us today and sharing your vast knowledge with us all.

What a great start to the weekend, i hope you all enjoyed the drive and I wish you a fantastic rest of your weekend and look forward to seeing you in the sand again real soon when I return from vacation

  3. @Frederic well as Luke and Emmanuel have already stated that was sure an adventure.

Going from a free flowing 2.5hr jog in the early morning to a 6.5hr marathon thereafter :), but wow what a 6.5hrs.

We had some super technical, and extraordinarily soft sand to contend with and everyone to a driver drove exceptionally.

We had the lot today, from Multiple stucks at the same time, to much use of the Ruby's winch, some creative rope work and of course the good old shovel was well utilized.

Busiest C/F role I think I have had since joining Carnity support team, but man oh man was it fun and I learnt heaps as we had to think on our feet to recover so many cars in so many tricky and soft situations.

Everyone ended the drive with a smile on their faces, it was a hard one but was a pleasurable one, look forward to the next adventure and learning experience.

The whole convoy showed extraordinary patients today which is commendable and also a trait of a carnity team member so well done to one and all.

@Emanuel you did a fantastic job in S/L polishing the lines of our mentor and lead @Frederic always a pleasure to drive with you and your silver Pajero.

@Abhilash Kottakkal for your first Fewbie you picked a good one lol and you handled it extremely well so congratulations and weel done.

@FERNANDO SYRIO you were brilliant in the sweep giving Fred and me constant feedback on what was happening at the rear and keeping us all together, great driving as well keep it up and look forward to seeing you on an Fewbie plus soon :)

@Ben Lee great driving in tricky conditions don't remember you having any stucks or refusals, well-done mate

@Cristian excellent driving too, and good comms on the radio when you had a couple of issues that always helps as it makes the recoveries so much easier great job.

@PETELCZYC PAJERO - luke hope your passenger is feeling better and we did not scare her too much :) fantastic driving and radio comms as always mate so thanks and appreciated the tug when the Ruby sank in during winching operations (of which there were many) so thank you my friend for coming to my rescue.

@Adam James well done to you as well, you drove the wheels off of the FJ and taught me something about 8 track that I did not know, love to learn so thanks and great to drive with you.

All in all what a way to spend Saturday morning in the sand with likeminded people that work well as a team and turn every situation into a learning experience. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did and have a fantastic rest of your weekend. :):)

  4. @Gaurav thanks for the great drive as usual, great lines and route, hopefully one day I will get there and produce such fluent drives. Very few refusals which made it fast flowing and very little stop time.

this is of course testament to the convoy @Alphin Aloor @Arun Menon @Emanuel @Glenn W  @Imteeaz and the way you all drove, fantastic drive by you all.

great second lead by Alphin who smoothed the lines and followed instructions flawlessly well done.

@Imteeaz nothing needs to be said mate, brilliant support as usual, always a pleasure to drive with you.

have a great rest of you weekend and see you in the sand again soon

  5. @M.Seidam thank you for another wonderful drive, this was my first night intermediate drive and it did not fail to deliver. Amazing lines and fantastic route giving us a little of everything.

second lead was amazing @Rajiv Sam you were faultless in your execution well done

@Benjamin@Joji varghese@Waqas Parvezand @topgearyou guys drove amazingly well in some tricky terrain. As Doc said we all pretty much had our fair share of refusals and stucks, which of course is all part of the learning process.

@Rajiv Sam hope you get your tyre sorted quickly should not need much, changing a tyre at night in the hot desert is difficult. However, we made it look easy with everyone pitching in to help, another great example of carnitas team work at play well down to you all.

Great to know @Arun Menon. Thanks for the update, and glad it is minor issue.

After the promotion, not sure will see you next week end 😅

great to hear, and I am glad that my eyes are still ok as I did not see transmission fluid on the stick as we only had half a cup full, good lesson not to push a bad situation, as if we had kept trying we could have done damage to the planetaries etc.. Glad it all worked out for you and you are getting it fixed quickly, look forward to seeing you in the sand again very soon :).
