  1. Today's morning desert drive at Faya, spearheaded by @DP1011, was fantastic. With @Amr Aydin as an amazing second lead, our convoy was in expert hands. Despite the morning's cold climate, the warmth of excitement among us was palpable. we navigated through some truly mesmerizing areas.

@Rafey Hashmi, with his nimble Jimny, was driving impressively, proving that skill often trumps size. I must extend my gratitude to @PAJERO petelczyc luke for his indispensable role as convoy sweep, ensuring we all stayed safe and accounted for. @Juan R, @Andrei S, and @FERNANDO SYRIO delivered fantastic driving performances, adding to the day's success.

However, the drive wasn't without its challenges. We encountered several popouts, and Rafey even lost his registration plate along the way. Despite these setbacks. I sincerely hope Rafey managed to reach home safely and can apply for a new registration plate without any hassle. This fantastic drive was a testament to the unpredictability of desert driving.

@DP1011 its enjoyable being in your convoy. Superb lead. 👍🏻

  2. This afternoon's desert drive at Qudra, under @M.Seidam lead, was an unparalleled adventure that I was lucky to be a part of.
With just three of us, it felt like a personalized journey through the vastness of the desert. Seidam, with his expert navigation, took us through some breathtaking areas, showcasing the desert's beauty.
The climate was fantastically cool, making the drive even more enjoyable. Behind Seidam, I was nestled safely in the middle, with @Sunil Mathew's rock-solid driving bringing up the rear, ensuring a sense of security amidst the challenging terrain.
The experience was elevated as we drove through the areas of Little Sweihan, where the approaching twilight cast a magical glow over the landscape, transforming it into a scene of beauty.
It was undoubtedly one of the most amazing drives I’ve had, a perfect blend of thrill, beauty, and tranquility.
@Sunil Mathew, My USB is with Seidam, hopefully I have it recorded in it 😆 and Doc is able to retrieve the files.

  3. Today’s afternoon's desert drive at Lisaili, masterfully led by @Davie Chase, unfolded as an adventure that those of us present will pleasingly remember about.

I had the honor of serving in the Second Lead role, for which I am immensely grateful. Thanks for the faith.

The drive was marked by some inviting cool dunes and also cool was the camaraderie and spirit of adventure displayed by all, especially Mr. Essam. Despite facing several challenges and getting refusals at times, @essam ibrahim your unwavering enthusiasm and adventurous spirit were truly inspirational, reminding us all that age is but a number when it comes to embracing the thrills and having fun.

The climate was the highlight of the drive, with the cool air aiding a refreshing touch to our desert escapade, making the experience even more enjoyable. Davie's leadership throughout the drive was exemplary, your effort ensured a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. The drive through Lisaili was not just about testing our skills—which were indeed impressive across the board—but also about appreciating the beauty of the desert, the joy of adventure, and the value of teamwork.

@Ahmed Farouk superb driving bro. I had to keep looking for you. The gaps were quite wide between us at times. Of course you were always on perfect track nevertheless.

@Shiju Raju that cresting caught you off guard. I happened to watch you exact at that time you were right behind when@essam ibrahim paused momentarily on that ridge which probably you had to brake causing you that stuck on the ridge. A slight gap would have avoided it.

@Julien Recan @frederic demolder rock solid guys. Your BAIC is getting it’s fair share of fans bro.

@Mohit Gurnani Great going bro. You really completed Davie in your sweep and kept us all together and safe.

Once again. Thanks to all. Hope to see you all soon. Cheers! And have a wonderful weekend.

Will be adding some random photos on the gallery soon.

  4. Under the seasoned guidance of @JeromeFJ, today’s morning desert offroad drive at Nahel unfolded as a thrilling escapade. Assisted by the capable support of @Gertjan and @Hugo, the convoy navigated through Nahel’s almost alien planet-like topography. The terrain, with its otherworldly features, provided a backdrop for a truly unique off-road experience.

As the convoy traversed the mesmerizing landscape, @Alphin Aloor and @Emanuel encountered a tire popout towards the end, a testament to the challenging conditions. Despite this, the drive was punctuated with awe-inspiring moments, heightened by the fantastic and cool early morning weather that enveloped the desert, making the entire journey refreshing.

@JeromeFJ unwavering effort and leadership throughout the drive did not go unnoticed, and we all appreciate your dedication and support bro.

@Rk ram  @Deepak Eswar @george charbel@Pascal You guys were rock solid and was nice to meet you all.

Overall, the drive was not only an exploration of the Nahel’s rugged beauty but also a showcase of great driving skills exhibited by all participants. The morning drive became a memorable fusion of nature’s wonders and the thrill of off-roading.

  5. This morning's drive, led by @Islam Soliman, promised an adrenaline-pumping adventure amidst the vast sandy expanse. However, the journey began on an unexpected note as @Bjoern faced issues early on (was it a pop out?), prompting an early departure. Soon after, @Gurcharan Mehta found himself stuck in a tricky spot, adding a touch of challenge to the already eventful drive. Even the reliable support team member @Cha experienced a popout, creating an air of uncertainty among the participants.

As the obstacles piled up, there was a collective concern that the drive might be defined by stucks and popouts, making it seem like a less-than-ideal day. Yet, once the convoy pushed through the initial hurdles, the magic unfolded. The drive transformed into an exhilarating experience, with participants showcasing remarkable dune climbing skills.

Despite the rocky start, the morning's desert dune drive turned out to be nothing short of superb. The undulating landscapes and the camaraderie among the participants created lasting memories, proving that sometimes the best adventures emerge from the most challenging beginnings. @Islam Soliman's leadership, coupled with @Cha's support, ensured that the drive transitioned from a rocky start to an awe-inspiring journey filled with triumphs over the desert's formidable terrain.

@Issam Atra bro it has always been a pleasure seeing you.

Great and Fantastic driving by @waqar , @Deepak Eswar, @Senthil Kumar and @Zulfikhar Naiyar. It was nothing short of spectacular.

Thanks all for making a wonderful day.

  6. Greetings of the Season and Wishing all a very Prosperous and Serene New Year.

I may not be able to join this drive, family and friends have plans for going to RAK and authorities have imposed a last entry to RAK at 1400hr which will make it quite difficult to manage both for me.

Since the RSVP is already closed, I am not removing myself in the hopes that in case of my plan changes I may be able to join at the start time.

@Looper Hope doing this is acceptable. Have fun guys and enjoy.

  7. This was a welcome weekday getaway drive for me personally.

@DP1011 Wonderful leading the way around some really busy areas bro. @Davie Chase was surely relaxed having the wonderful backup around with @munkybizness, @Pacific and @Joji varghese around. Thanks guys, as a team you make everyone feel perfectly safe and strong.

@Rafey Hashmi surely is enjoying and pushing his nimble Jimny.

@Maytham Mahroos you have a beast of a vehicle. Push it well and you will be leaving all far behind.

@Gary F @george charbel @Felix Obst solid work at the back guys. It’s been a pleasure to be with you all.

    see you all soon. Ciao.

  9. @Gaurav I’m sure it would have been verified in all its wisdom. And without an iota of doubt, absolutely there is no denying @Icon Autosupremacy and performance at this event. Hats off!! My post was not a challenge to the decision ever.

Basically we had drawn a route which traversed the tiny gap between the 2 No go zones, (as must have most teams Im sure thought about it for fun) but scrapped it in the very beginning for anything coming close to disqualification. Wouldn’t be worth the risk😂

In the very highest event forms of Motorsport this would be a near suicidal attempt. Just brought the intrusion part out as it’s a learning process for us all the 8 teams.

  10. @Carnity An amazing toast raised to all off-road enthusiasts by this wonderful event successfully completed in style.

@Icon Auto Wow! You guys attacked the dunes head on and blasted and nailed it. A big congrats to you guys. The amount of learning daring guts we got to know from your scores is beyond bounds. Almost perfect score.

@Looper and team. Great work and commendable performances. It’s great to be learning from you guys.

Thanks @Carnity for this exposure to our members with @Icon Auto and Team StrongHooks, this raises the bar for us.

As a strict rule based off-road group, I couldn’t help noticing that while we chose to do multiple passes when in doubt but (without taking away at all from @Icon Auto fabulous and untouchable glory) I do notice ingress of formidable NO GO areas twice which would ideally lead to irreparable damage like disqualification.

@GauravSoni man oh man, you and team. Bro. Fantastic. Unbelievable what you guys achieved. Congrats. Some score you put up and made us Carnity members proud. You, our internal Carnity heros.

I personally thank @Asif Hussainin having faith and allowing me to join his team Sand Runners. @Cole bertasso @JohanE @Jaro Tuzinsky we jelled into a brotherhood that I will remember for life. Asif bro you clearly had the most unrecognized fellows under your wings. Shoutout to @JohanE with around a max of 4 desert drives, and @Cole bertasso with similar experience

Anyways amazing learning experience for us all. Wish Carnity keep making such challenges every year so we keep learning and bettering our self’s.

  11. The morning started with a wonderful coffee at the fuel station before reaching the starting point, and it turned out that the only tank filled was my own and forgot to fill up the vehicle. I couldnt be embarrased enough when I announced just before entering that the tank was empty.

Thanks my sand brothers for waiting out the embarassement for me.

The drive route was taken through its paces, and I could feel @Davie Chase had decided to give us all some lessons which maybe was left back from last Sunday's drive in the same place where we were unable to move in rhythm due to frequent stucks.

@Emanuel your second lead was great bro. @Cole bertasso Hope to see you regularly.

@Issam Atra@Ishak its always nice to meet you both. You are both doing great with each of your drives, We three have been gaining experience up literally together and feels 'homie' to see each other. Hope to keep levelling up safely and make our mentors proud.

I had a front cam installed, the videos are there, but somehow couldnt transfer it out. Once done will share them, hopefully should make a good view.

@Gautam Banka, @Sreenath G You did miss a good learning drive guys.

@Issam Atra was nice to meet you again brother. @mohammed hope to see your 360 camera in action soon bro, and your skid plate acquired soon, breaks the heart to see the bumpers splayed bro. @Rafey Hashmi great going bro with the mini beast Jimny, it’s a capable car and hope to see you extract the best of it as you use it more.

@Stan@Arun Menon@Naim Aoun@Srilakshman Karthikeyan hope to see you all back again soon.

Hoping to get some pics shared on the gallery.

  13. @Looper My sincere appreciation for leading us to a wonderful drive it was surely amongst one of the top ones for me. The climate was fantastic too overall.

@Mohammad Sayawoush Azad, @Haneef Thayyilboth were amazing handling their huge heavy V8 behemoths on the later half of the drive. Amazingly nimble stuff.

@Haneef Thayyil, bro, you were holding back abruptly or paused momentarily quite a few times, and surprisingly those places there were no obstacles or similar which could cause that. It just used to come out of nowhere for the minutest of periods but was enough to cause a sudden pace drop behind to us.
Maybe some distraction. But it has happened on earlier drives also, so humble request to have a feel there.

@Issam AtraBro you were resilient and never looked lacking. Only places where you had a refusal was due to me holding your position up. Super bro.
