@Lorenzo Candelpergher another frustrating drive it seems.

I have a few comments on your report; Firstly with regards to you reporting that i ignored your instructions? It comes as a surprise as I did request over the radio to fix it quickly as its not a good idea to drive without it especially in the big dunes where we could possibly be crossing other convoys, it was fixed in 1 minute, but its up to you to interpret that as you wish.

Secondly your comments on the sweep, the center forward (senior) and the car following him did not communicate that they got lost, neither did the car following them radio in that he cant see them as he was able to see the rest of the convoy in front of them as we all followed along, I was 5 cars behind them and as a result was in no position to see them or even try to find them in those big dunes, in addition no one said anything over the radio for me to act on, only when we all passed them hundreds of meters on did they radio in that they are lost, this was then i then ask where are they and i got out to look for them, this was told to you at the time but it seems like you ignored what was told to you and still are of the opinion that I was not able to carry out my responsibility for the drive, your frustration noted and as you were not at the back and did not see what was taking place I informed you of what was happening.

Lastly I want to thanks everyone I’ve driven with over the past 1+ years while being part of the carnity team, i learned a lot from you guys, its been fun, this was my last drive with Carnity.

I wish you all the best.

    Thanks and take care.

I must say and be honest @Lorenzo Candelpergher that I agree with most points that @Francois Germishuysmade firstly The guys who had refusal must have informed on the radio it’s a very basic rule, this way things would have been different.

secondly, I also agree that there were no way for the sweep to spot them or even none of us in the back even before the sweep to see them that they have refusal in a pocket, I guess they were too shy to admit it anyway You know to see five cars on the front and don’t have any visuals before them you’d automatically think that they are already on the other side of the dunes. As mentioned the problem would have been solved IF THEY ANNOUNCED IT.

Can you explain that @Abu Muhammad, what do you mean by "minimum intermediate drive" to join an IM🤔🤔??

Sure brother @Hisham Masaad. What I mean here is that when a drive such as @Lorenzo Candelpergher’s drive today.

There should be an special requirement for JOINING For example say:

“This Drive is Only for intermediate drivers WHO had at least (…No of drive…) previous Intermediate drive.

The opposite example is if an unexperienced intermediate driver joins say it’s his first one he might be struggling and causing the whole convoy be effected.

    I hope this helps 😆.

  3. As usual @Lorenzo Candelperghergreat drive full of fun but to be honest for intermediate drive the performance were poor and disappointing specially at the beginning with too many refusals and simply keeping the convoy in order.

Just a friendly suggestion for such drive there should be a “Minimum Intermediate Drive”requirements.

Have good weekend friends. Will see you 🔜 on the Sands.

    Dear @Abu Muhammad
Usually the motion sickness start with no warning signs and ends the same once the trigger is removed . Once happened to my elder son in one of the drives while for the middle and little one they were asking for more stunts 🤣

I am planing to write up about this condition and how to deal with it in near future 😊

    Eid Mubarak 🙏

Thank you so much Dr. @M.Seidamfor the advise yes I would be nice to know more about it but exactly as you said it’s gone very easily.

  5. Dear @Srikumar it was indeed nice to catch up with you and as always it’s my pleasure being part of your convoy. From the start I felt the fun and thought to be a thrilling drive but unfortunately the problems started. Anyhow for some odd reason as soon as we head the road he came to live and all was normal but for sure no more off roading for him lesson learned 😂. I would like to Thank you @Srikumar , @Mario Cornejoand everyone for your patience, support and help.

Will see you 🔜 on the sand. Take care for now.

  6. Thank you @Islam Solimanand everybody for the drive. I had quiet a challenging day today.
The problem is my beast is not like any other light 4x4 trust me when controlling 3+tone specially when its stuck in the sand it’s a big challenge to get it out, The 35” tires when buried refuses to turn left or right, sometimes I feel as am controlling or maneuvering a ship in the desert despite how easy it might seen from outside lol 😂 but with all these in return what more can you ask than discovering an “anchor man” in the middle of desert when your beast is letting you down.....Yes spacial Thanks to @Shehab Alawadhi”The Anchor Man”. Also Thank you @Hisham Masaadand his sons for great Support.

See you soon in the desert guys.

@Abu Muhammad – I think just a couple of refusals and the last one, a crest, wasn’t picked up on the walkie talkie. These things happen, sure I myself got stuck on the most innocuous dune after coming back across to help you.

Thanks for great fun drive @Foxtrot Oscaras far as I remember I had only one refusal which was that crest, unfortunately had to stop to make it safe for everyone else as there refusals in front and cars were everywhere.

  8. Dear @Lorenzo CandelpergherTjank you so much for taking times and giving us the insight information between them highly appreciated. Yes there has been many times that I gained the proper momentum that needed for the drive then it comes the challenge of controlling.

Very insightful @Lorenzo Candelpergher coming from direct experience...

What i enjoy most on JL is its almost flat Torque/Rpm curve .. it's as powerful at low rpm as at high...so maneuverability on soft sand and going up the steep dune is equalñy good... Again as @Abu Muhammad rightly indicated both are awesome vehicles and it takes a good driver to get result out of them ...i remember my first newbie drive where with same JL i struggled to climb up the pink rock and then we have @Luca Palanca Falsini who rocks the 2.4ltr engine on every terrain...so potential on these vehicles is crazy cool both need a driver who can tap it.

@Abu Muhammad someday maybe we switch rides...and enjoy the beauties with diff perspectives, perhaps at a newbie drive...😃

Totally agree yes that would be good idea I know yours would be easy to control but you might feel the big difference I don’t know.

Hahahah @Abu Muhammad so true.. .. though in your case it's not the car it's the awesome smooth and always in control driver ..who rules irrespective of the vehicle...😉😉

Reference to vehicle was only for me...😃😃

Yes @varunmehndiratta or it may well be both the driver and the car 😂. From what I heard the Jeeps are made for off roading and it’s so relaxing, most of the times it does all the job for you. By the way I never owned a Jeep so no first hand experience.

Thanks @Lorenzo Candelpergher as i said it's the maneuverability of Jeep on tech terrain  and ease of following @Jeepie that made it easy for me ... and ofcourse 6 months of guidance by seniors at @Carnity

Dear @varunmehndirattayoure praising the Jeeps which not a problem but today from what we witness from the back Jeeps had more refusals and stocks by the way did you know that some heavy cars in the back were not Jeeps and did not had any refusal? Or not as much as cars in the front So surely from what we saw from the back it was the Jeeps and other white cars that had the most problems.

  12. Thanks for your feedbacks@Francois Germishuys and I really do appreciate it as this is what will help us correct ourselves and improve further. I honestly hate it to be the cause of holding others in any convoy but of course more in extreme drive if you remember  I told you that I was a bit nervous and that was exactly for this reason like I was asking myself what if I’ll be the cause of slowing the extreme drive? just exactly as you said the extreme drive should be for driving continuously but of course with odd things will happen to anybody and that’s totally understandable.

as always pleasure driving with you and by the way I think your track sound much better than mine.

see you soon and take care for now.

  13. Thanks once again @Luca Palanca Falsini for giving me the opportunity to try this extreme drive. Indeed it was full of thrill, fun and educational drive, yes that was the quickest pop out fixed I have ever seen... Great driving with you guys for now enjoy the rest of the weekend and hopefully will catch up later.

see you 🔜 on the sand.
