  1. @Kailas thanks for an enjoyable night drive last night, complete with some refusals, stucks and a nice break with the camping chairs.... As usual some great teamwork, and creative thinking to keep us going through the soft sand...

Well done @Jose Thomas on your first Fewbie plus drive. 👍

Thanks for the support and contributions  @Joji varghese@Gok Krish@Rajiv Sam@Beide Workuand @Chris Wing

    Good weekend everybody!

  2. Happy 27th birthday @M.Seidam 😂 - we value you posting a drive, and taking the time and effort involved in doing so, and sharing the moment with us...

The heartfelt comments and drive recollections from your followers show, without a doubt, that it is appreciated - the drive produced various challenges, and as usual, well handled and contributions made by all team members in different ways contributed towards an excellent result. If I recall correctly, @Zixuan Huang - Charlie "wished" for some stucks during our pre-drive briefing, and it would seem that the call was answered....

So good to be in the desert at night....I've been waiting for these drives...  ample confident, practical advice and guidance from @munkybizness (thanks for the compliments, and by the way you have a writing gift), @Ranjan Das securing us from the rear and showing us how to use a winch 👍. I must say, the combination of darkness, humidity affecting visibility and super soft sand made for some challenging moments.

As someone who is in charge of, and works with teams daily in the work setting, it never amazes me how much can be accomplished when the team has a good leader, travels in the same direction, each member is respected, involved, assisted when needed, and feels they are able to make a contribution to the bigger purpose.... The team begins to take on its own personality and dynamic separate to the individual members. This drive provided a great example in this respect. 👍

    Have a good week everyone.

  3. Good topic. Anxiety, yes, especially if there are limited drives posted for whatever reason that next weekend. I set an alarm for 18h58. By this time, I've already decided on my first and second options (if I'm around at all in DXB during the weekend that is) I then have the Whatsapp Carnity notification page opened with the exact drive link in position. Next I make sure that I'm connected to the strongest wifi (I find my data connection is slower sometimes), and hope that my phone doesn't decide to do some random update, run out of battery (or freeze) at exactly that time 🤣. I make myself scarce, possibly somewhere out of sight 😂 It then seems to take a long time for the clock to change to 19h00, but as it does, my finger is ready.... I click the link, scroll down (but not too quickly otherwise the "going" button disappears), click on "going" - A painful few seconds goes by before (If I'm lucky) my name is added to the guest list.

If I'm not too lucky, or a technical glitch happens, well we all know what happens then.

  4. Another good drive with @Hisham Masaad and the team on Saturday.

From Hisham's more leisurely drive the previous weekend, this was a characteristic Hisham drive, and we heard the expected "Yalla push!" a number of times throughout the drive 🤣. Some beautiful terrain and dunes 👍 👍

Thanks to @Amr Aydin, @Mohamad Anwer and @Waqas Parvez for the support and keeping all moving and in check.... No stucks, few refusals, and a F1 style popout fix added to the good pace of the drive.

@DP1011 , Deepak wrangler hope your son recovered fully after the drive. He did well!

@Imteeaz hope you managed to sort your tyre out, after the drive.

    Have a good week everyone.

  5. Enjoyed the drive yesterday as always @Hisham Masaad...

Thanks to @DP1011 , Deepak wrangler, @Rob S and @Mohamad Anwer for the support and guidance.

As mentioned, great scenery and a nice bunch of people! @Tareq Al Turq hope your son fully recovered.

Hats off to @Michel Van Woudenberg in your unique FJ40 - you showed a lot of skill and discipline (not using the A/C to preserve every horsepower 👍) during the drive.

    Good week everyone..
