  1. @Frederic - You’ve been one of my most cherished mentors here. You opened me up to what matters most. And your clarity of purpose is so refreshing. It’s something I hope I can borrow from in the days to come. Doc @M.Seidam - thank you for your vote of confidence, and the continuous guidance so far. I’ve learnt so much about how to negotiate the tightest dunes in your lead. And I hope to continue to learn more, with each passing day. @Islam Soliman - I often say that if there’s one person who know how to keep their car perfectly middle of sharp slip face, it is you. Every time I see you on the slippery slopes of Little Sweihan, I am filled with complete awe. I hope to learn this exact skill from you. And of course, how to tame a LWB while I’m at. @JeromeFJ- I hope I can be half as selfless as you are. And if I achieve that, my role here will already be off to the right start. @Brette - I can’t wait to join more of your drives and see you calm resilience, and have it rub off on me. I’m truly looking forward to your notes on how I can better myself, for myself and the convoy. @Looper - Effortless. That’s what I want to learn from you. You just make it look so easy and composed. @Gregory - just running into you puts a smile on my face. You have this steadfast spirit that I look to temper some of the misplaced machismo that sometimes gets the better of me. So much to learn from you in the drives to come. @Ranjan Das - indeed, I’ve been pinching myself constantly @imranaasghar81 - Dude, you’re the quintessential excitable child that we all want to keep alive inside us. I love the way you drive with so much character and fun all doled in. And with you, we’re always off to the races @Gaurav Soni “bhai” (because I called him Sir on a recent drive 😛 ) - thank you for seeing the level I can scale to, before I did. I can’t wait to be on a drive with you soon. @Vaibhav- thanks buddy, @Ranjan Das will also be on the drive… #justsayin @Anoop Nair @Jose Thomas @Joji varghese @Mike. @Sunny84 @Mark D @Haitham Khattab @Waqas Parvez @Thomas Varghese @Jaro Tuzinsky @Salim Akhtar @Tom B @Sunil Mathew @Morshedi - y'all are the reason why I go in and out of each drive with a massive smile plastered on my face. In the way you each pilot your machines and make them do amazing things inspires me to learn so much from each of you. Sometimes, I see a better line, better throttle management, less fear, better ridge riding and exit, and so on an so forth... You are all the reason that I wake up at a godforsaken hour to share this activity with people that lift you up. For this, and the drives to come, thank you

  4. Good morning Sweihan boys. hope you are set for tomorrow's night drive. I have planned a pretty nice route with some big dunes and bowls, and hopefully would be able to cover most of it while driving blind. 😀 For the WL members, it will be difficult for me to increase the RSVP number as in fast paced Night drives an extra long convoy would affect the fluidity of the drive. However, the RSVP will be kept open till tomorrow evening 5 PM.

  20. Dear @Ale Vallecchithank you for the very nice drive yesterday afternoon. The terrain was untouched all they, evern the very common bowls such as the iftar bowl felt so soft and un touched, thanks to the windy few days earlier. We felt all VIPs due to the small convoy, a few small refusals and a popout which was dealt with quickly and we moved on. The idea of swaping positions every 40 minutes was great and worked well for everyone 👏. @Ashok chaturvedi @Zixuan Huang - Charlie @Fabien Monleau @Pacific pleasure driving with you all always! And great to see you @Pacificon the dunes again! See you all soon in the desert

  34. Dear Sand Sailors Thanks for RSVPing for the drive. Really good to see some usual suspects and some new faces. Plus we have some new first time FBs as well - going to be fun 😈😈 Been a crazy week at work for me and i am really looking forward to release some steam on Long range dunes around Lisali - .so get ready to rumble !!👍 Drive Plan - Very simple and easy - will enter the sand around camel track area, quickly (atleast i hope so) rush through some basic technical area and then we will let ourselves get lost into the beautiful long range dunes of Lisali. Some FAQs for our drive. When do we meet? - Sharp 5am without exception. Anyone one min late will need to bring in a Jerry can full of 10ltr Super grade petrol for the lead (yeah my Jeep doesn't like the taste of that cheap special or regular fuel 😂) and 20ltr.for @GauravSoni who is hoping that he gets at least a tank full in lieu of giving up his sleep to join with us. Thanks @GauravSoni Anyone two or more min late will be sent back home (of course after delivering the Jerry can and 10 ltr petrol each for whole convoy). Where do we meet? Lisali camel track, drop pin will be updated tomo afternoon What we plan to achieve- Achieve? Dude It's a weekend so let's just chill and sail through the sand, far away from hustle of achieving something... Yeah, yeah you will learn as well 😴 Where do we exit - Who cares, somewhere around. Hopefully in Dubai. 🧭🧭 What time do we plan to exit - i plan to exit by 9am. When you will exit - depends on you 👿😂😂 What should I bring to the drive? Lots of energy, water, gear, snack for yourself and MASK 😷😷 <- yeah that's how it looks like, And yeah Smiles (but won't it be hidden under the mask🤔). Any prep before the drive required? Take lots of rest, stay hydrated, ensure your vehicle is in perfect shape and above all ensure you set the alarm right ⏰⏰⏰⏰ it's really a lame excuse that my alarm didnt ring - it always does we are the one who miss it 😂😂 In case your plan changes, please advice well in time. And in case of any issue feel free to call me - my no is 050 4430 882 So looking forward to see you all on Sunday. @Zulfikhar Naiyar @RiaanJH @Stan Hassett @Jonny90 @takeshi sobue @salah2u @Ashok chaturvedi @Sam KK @Tom B @KAMALIO

  37. Dear Desert Drivers, Thank you for signing up for the drive on Saturday morning. As you know from your recent drives, the sand will be soft, the temperature will rise very rapidly, we might have some wind... real desert conditions, but still good to enjoy a nice ride through the hot sands of Faqa. Most of you know the area already, we will have technical portions, but also large open dunes and high ridges. We will try to keep the drive as fluid as possible. The sand will be soft, and soft shall be your driving. Remember that momentum is key in these conditions, to keep your car moving and to "float" on the soft patches. Avoid any sharp turn, sudden acceleration or breaking, keep your car moving, especially on ridges, or on flat soft pockets, and when you need to stop, do it as far as possible on an incline (downwards) or on hard surface. Also the slip faces will be even more slippery, so don't take any chance, go straight down, and avoid any situation where you will get stuck sideways on a steep incline. I will confirm the convoy order tomorrow at the end of the afternoon. We still have a few candidates for the wait list, please let me know incase you change your plan, so that we can give them a chance to participate. Stay tuned for the next update !

  38. One of my first drives with Carnity was in Mahafiz, and I saw your Indian flag bobbing in the wind, and it was such a beautiful sight. It's one of the first photos I took in a drive. Since then, having you there in the convoy has meant that we've always had amazing company and support - a role that is now bedding in with a label. Massive congratulations @Ranjan Das 😇
