Thank you @Jeepie for that beautiful drive. Probably one of the best I had
Really enjoyed climbing those dunes in front of Big Red, step by step and pushing the car all the way up ! It was beautiful, nice, challenging and different.
Thank you @Ranjan Das and @Hisham Masaad for the support and all the little technical tips and tricks.
The convoy was also very fun and good. I don't think any body has beaten my record of crests per ride, or crest at the same spot 😅
See you all very soon.
Not enough to fill the whole calendar though

@Ranjan Das @Hisham Masaad @Alain Canivet-Abikhalil, @Zixuan Huang - Charlie, @Sunil Mathew, @Chris Wing and @darren thompson
I think we had a drive with a lot of different terrain and we did some virgin ridges. The whole area to and around Pink Rock was quite soft, but hardly any tracks, which was nice for me as a lead as well. After practicing on the lower dunes we snaked our way up towards the big dune in front of Big Red. I got the impression that you all enjoyed that area. I actually enjoy it more than Big Red. Here we did find some tracks, but nothing too crazy. We had a small convoy, but I would like to thank you all for great teamwork.
A couple of refusals and reattempts, one tug and one big dig, just to make sure we all got some exercise too.
@Alain Canivet-Abikhalil you did a great job as second lead and redirected when requested. @Ranjan Das thank you for taking on the responsibility of center forward and @Hisham Masaad(and son) thank you for keeping us all together.
@Sunil Mathew @Zixuan Huang - Charlie there were a few occasions where I was surprised to see you were still behind me, because some crossings were definitely not easy. A reattempt here and there is nothing to worry about.
@Chris Wing @darren thompson I hardly saw or heard you, so you must have been coping really well in the churned up tracks.
I posted quite a lot of pictures in the gallery.
Hope to see again soon

@Yawa @Abdul Rafay-S @Gregory @Matt.T @Russ @M.Seidam @Ranjan Das @Will Seivewright @Anoop Nair I hope you enjoyed this drive as much as I did. Different types of terrain; very soft in places, but everyone did quite well. Little bit of ridge riding, crisss crossing and lots of bowls with sidesloping and hopefully some fun. There were some old tracks but I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too bad. We also did a few technical and quite bumpy areas. A couple of refusals and re-attemps, A bit of shoveling but we didn't need a rope or a winch. The jack had to come out for a pop-out of Yawa, but that was really swiftly dealt with by Mohamed and Ranjan. Great support from both of you. And Abdul did a perfect job as second lead. I am proud of us!😃

Looking forward to the drive tomorrow morning...
I've just fitted Yoko Geolandar G015's and tomorrow will be my first drive using these tyres. Am keen to see how they perform especially after hearing majority positive reviews... Does anyone in this drive ride on these (or similar all terrain) tyres, and can suggest an optimum pressure? Of course there'll be trial and error. Previously, 13PSI worked well for me - that was on regular (road) tyres. So looking for input and opinions... thanks
Hi Gregory, I drive with Geolander G0 15 in the front and Dunlopp in the back and deflate to 9,5 on all of them. But better to start at 12 or 11 and deflate further when you need to.

@Yawa apologies, I have learnt that you have been promoted to fewbie level, so you are more than welcome
-
@Russ and @Ranjan Das if you are still interested you can now sign up for your second drive
-
@Mohamed Samaco and @Yawa, this is a Fewbie drive and as far as I can see you are not at this level yet, so please try to find an opening in one of the Newbie drives. If this will be your first drive with Carnity, you will have to find a spot in the Absolute Newbie drive. Hoping to see you soon on another drive.
