  1. Hello friends ! Well I think you said it all :)

Congrats @Shaaz Sha it was a very challenging, eventful and exciting drive ! I am happy to be one of the firsts to drive in your lead and I hope we were up to your expectations !

Same for @Russ congrats on your first "official" support, even though you've been successfully supporting for a while already.

Thank you @Luca Palanca Falsini and @Abu Muhammad for support and advices, @Javier Lucero for second lead and well done everyone. As someone said above, when we pass across other off roaders, I feel privileged to be part of @Carnity !

  2. Thank you @Wrangeld for planning this drive. As much as it was frustrating for you to lead in such difficult conditions, we did drive for almost 4 hours and covered 60km in the sand.

Maybe we didn’t enjoy the Sweihan dunes properly but it was a very good occasion to work on technics and most important, being focused.

Given the nature of the terrain, the convoy did very well and I think we can be proud of ourselves. @Zixuan Huang - Charlie managed the SL position perfectly, reacting to the unexpected terrain - until you had to leave us - hope your power issue will be fixed.

@Alexander Holodny and @John Vanderbleek as your 3rd and 4th FB drives, you were totally up to the challenge.

@Ben84 you were comfortable in all situations - just look out for bushes when you reverse 😅

@varunmehndiratta your experience and advice are always very helpful… oh and your voice, very reassuring 🎵

Guys in the back didn’t see much of you, but in the mirror you seemed to follow. Great support from @Alex Raptor you're the most qualified to get @Wrangeld out of trouble :)

Hope Abu Dhabi will still give us some nice drives in the future. See you all soon for other adventures.

Very cool pics @Alex Raptor and @munkybizness by the way !

  3. Thank you @Wrangeld for leading us into a quite new track. We did enjoy a very diversed playground, probably not as technical as you expected though

It's interesting to understand from you the steps and to see the reasoning when it comes to new modification or equipment in your car.

It was good to see all of you, and given the nature of the sand, I feel we had very few refusals and stucks and everyody drove pretty good. @Charbel, very well done for you first FB+ !

Thanks @Christopher Assal also very nice to see you master your skills with your Safari too and your company at the back always pleasant

@Archibald Jurdi nice to meet you. Looking at you climbing the dunes in your TJ - moreover a manual - was scenic.

Same for @Anoop Nair, respect for the manual drivers

@Adhir Saxena good to see you and your enthusiasm during recoveries and @Chris Wing you definitely can go anywhere with your FJ

@Pacific perfect second lead (and i know what I'm talking about ;)

@Tbone very nice job, sorting out all the recoveries.

Overall, from the back, the convoy really looked very disciplined and skillful. Have a lovely week everyone and see you soon !

  4. Thank you @Wrangeld that was a very nice drive.
Very eventful from the start... proof that anything can happen in the desert.

The terrain of Lehbab is beautiful and challenging, and the convoy did pretty well all along.
Great support from @Alex Raptor and @Jeepie as always !

Sometimes people ask me why I still go to Fewbie drives... Going to Fewbie drives is a reminder of the importance of being prepared and concentrated. It is also a reminder of the steps that you need to cross and the learnings you had all the way. Gravity and momentum, reading the dunes and the sand, knowing your car, testing your capabilities...

Going to Fewbie drives is also a reminder that in the desert you need to be humble and patient. Everybody gets stuck, no matter your level. But with the advice of the Carnity crew you learn to handle all different situations.
It is also the chance to meet new people, and lend a hand whenever it is needed, because that is the spirit of this community.

Well done evreyone, have a good week and hope to see you all very soon in the sand !
