@Wrangeld warned me in my very first master class that this sport was addictive. He wasn’t wrong; I don’t think I have missed a weekend drive since my first newbie!

@Mehmet Volga thanks for a fun filled drive this morning. It was challenging in areas, with a far amount of digging along the way!

@Kailas you had to work hard today! You provided incredible support to the convoy. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to tug two "stucks" out and to christen my new snatch rope!

@Shaaz Sha thanks for an excellent drive this morning and entrusting me with the sweep position. Your drives never fail to deliver. Apart from the stops to repair the pop outs, it felt like we covered a lot of ground and kept a fairly decent pace up. Certainly helped by the fact that there we so few refusals/stucks today. I guess that shows we are all improving! The bowl at the end was definitely worth extending the drive for. 

@Looper thanks for your support. I enjoyed watching you do the side sloping and seeing how it should be done.

@Vinod Damodaranhope you got back home without too much bother. Bet you can't wait to get back into the Jeep!

@Michel Van Woudenberg enjoyed following in your tracks. Your new LC has some serious power.

@Mehmet Volga thanks for a terrific drive yesterday morning. The 2nd half of the drive was particularly enjoyable as the pace picked up. It was my first time being sweep, but I hope to be able to perform that role more often as it was tremendous fun!

@Hisham Masaad thanks for supporting the drive and well done @Michel Van Woudenberg who did a great job as SL. It was impressive watching the LC's crawl control get you out of a couple of situations without any bother.

Thanks @Vinod Damodaran. I had equally as much fun watching from behind your jeep emerge from the dunes each time. Those wheels are absolutely enormous!

 @Shaaz Sha thanks for an incredible drive yesterday. The terrain was exciting and challenging in places, and the scenery was breathtaking given how clear the sky was after the recent wind and rains. Driving that extra 20-30 mins from Dubai to reach the Sharjah sands is definitely worth it in my opinion. Thanks again for giving me the opportunity to take up 2nd lead. This was the first time I had performed this role and so it was great to gain the experience.

Hi @Manoj Soman, I went through my dash cam footage to try and send you the clip of that pretty epic climb you had towards the end of the drive. Unfortunately my car wasn’t pointed in the right direction and I didn’t catch it! 

@Shaaz Sha thank you for a fantastic drive last night. The side sloping and bowls before sun down were incredible and I really enjoyed the fast pace. And then to experience my first night drive under a full moon was quite something. Finally - thank you for your kind words in the drive report. I am already looking forward to joining your drive in Sharjah on Sunday!
