We then topped it off with a great chance to meet up with old and new friends at the crescent lake which was a fantastic surprise. This is what Carnity is all about, the community of the club and comradery is second to none, thoroughly enjoyed it as did my copilot.

@Andrei S you did a superb job at S/L keeping us all out of trouble, stopping win a timely manner when requested and taking us left and right to ensure we hit the optimum safe trail well done it was perfectly executed.

  3. @M.Seidam as always, a fantastic drive, thank you much for allowing me to support you and the rest of the convoy, it is always a pleasure to drive with you, learn from you and support you. Your manner has a truly a calming influence over the whole convoy and it is a pleasure to listen to your commentaries :) The drive had a little bit of everything including our stucks, which is always good as it shows the team that we all get stuck at some point no matter your level, moreover, it is always a great learning opportunity for all in the convoy.

Great second lead by @Mohamad Anwer you did an awesome job of moving the convoy slightly left right etc. where needed which kept us all on a safe path from start to finish. The convoy consisted of a fantastic bunch of skilled off-roaders that made the drive pleasurable and entertaining so a big thankyou and well done to @Glenn W @Udit S @Pranjal Varsani1 @Bjoern @Yaseen87@Gregory@Daniel Rodas @Ignacio Quindós @Jaro Tuzinsky you guys made our jobs so much easier by driving flawlessly throughout the drive, I hope you enjoyed it as much a s we did. Lastly @Fabien Monleau thanks for being a superb CF it is always a pleasure to drive with you and good luck to your team this week in the WC football.

  4. @Gaurav This was an excellent afternoon's learning, we really do not know what we do not know and sharing of tips and tricks like this not only helps us learn but enables us to be better at supporting the leads, ensuring the safety of others in the convoy and lastly gives us the confidence to apply what we have learnt. Thanks for the fantastic lead @Frederic, I do think you need to practice getting stuck more :)

To the rest of the support group @Simon D @ASAD. @Rob S @Waqas Parvez @Dodi Syahdar @Varun Mehndiratta @Lawrence_Chehimi @DP1011 , Deepak wrangler @Looper as always was a pleasure getting together, chatting, sharing experiences and getting to know you all better - invaluable experience.

  5. @Islam Soliman (Hope you made your flight) thank you for a great drive yesterday that had everything in it as usual :), my first time to YT was indeed a memorable one. I do not remember in my 50+ drives having a drive with that amount of soft sand throughout, so it was a fantastic experience with a lot of learnings. Also never had a recovery where we used nearly every rope and a winch (I believe we had one rope left and that was only because Charlie had two lol). That recovery was a true display of Carnity teamwork at its best, where all 7 members of the convoy participated to make it happen. Moreover, that was a real work out, my legs were burning by the time I reached the top and I really was not sure I would make it. The other team members were just as exhausted as it was a truly grueling recovery from a stamina standpoint, but as always, we got through it with smiles and enthusiasm to obtain a safe recovery with a bunch of learning opportunities along the way.

@Zixuan Huang - Charlie fantastic second lead and support for the drive as always. @Ranjan Das  @Karthikeyan Govindarajan @Ashutosh Garg @Zulfikhar Naiyar you guys all drove exceptionally well and worked together the best I have seen and supported each other superbly. That recovery, to get it done safely, required teamwork, coordination and above all flawless communicating, we had all three in abundance, well done to one and all.

I have posted some pics in the Gallery.

I have a great rest of your weekend and hope to see you all in the sand again very soon.
