    @Gok Krish @Gertjan @Joseph Raju @Salim Akhtar @DP1011 @Jorge Stepniak Felippe @Imran Kashif @Mohit Gurnani @Bashar Beasha @Naveen Raj

    welcome to another adventure in the speed sculptures safari through the mesmerizing terrain of Al Wagan!

    The drive is intended to pass through some of the famous bowls and dunes where we will have our fair share of adrenaline rush.
    please note following

    1. Your car is in top notch condition.
    Make sure you have fixed any known issues and have driven for a few drives after with no breakdowns.

    2. You have been on sands driving at IM level. This is for your own safety. I would suggest reconsidering if you have been out of sand for more than 3 months.

    3. You are in sync with your car. you understand your car and understand its limitations and strength.

    4. carry additional fuel (based on your car tank capacity) as we would be covering close to >120 km.

    5. Have necessary gear (including tow rope with 2 soft shackles) and spare Tyre in good condition.

    6. No passengers

    In view of the weather conditions expected on this weekend, the meeting time is now shifted at 8.30 am And ready to drive at 9 am.

    please do not keep any appointments for the day.

     Make sure you and your machine are all tuned and ready to roar!

    We will announce the convoy order and the radio channel during the briefing.

    make sure the tanks are full to brim at the start point / or carry 10-20 liters of extra fuel if uncertain.

    FYI I would be camping the night before .. so let me know if u have similar plan!

    see you all soon!

    The Meeting point has been updated.

    For this weekend I have planned the drive in 3 sections which would be a mix of rolling dunes, along with some technical patches. So expect some fast paced action.

    P.S. To all the IM signups, the drive will be a FB+ 😅

    Ha ha for the P.S. comment!

    I can only think it was because of the Sonic drive - shouldn't have done it. Don't worry about it. The situation will take care of it by itself towards the end of the week.

    Oh......Should I exit from Pink Floyd event to move up the WL? No!

    Guru @Gaurav, Sonic is music trip, social evening and this Nahel is Dopamine and Adrenalin trip... I could not get my spot for Nahel drive coz I allegedly signed up for the Sonic drive!  Hoping I will move up the WL if someone exits, but do not want Sonic drive come otw... pls jettison them if ok, Thank you.

  7. I am planning to camp in the desert post the drive - anyone joining, let me know, we can coordinate for the best outcome...the first attempt to stay at the Razeen starting point few weeks back was not that great as it was warm and sultry - last week I had stayed for Assif bhais drive at Sweihan - it was awesome....pleasant in the beginning then getting cool over time...Happy driving and Happy camping!

    Wow just this one alone bowl is enough to summarize the drive. This is just awesome, @Asif Hussain bhai hope we will have some more drive planned in area sometime soon. 🙏🙏

    @Asif HussainBhai, last year I had joined you and it was foggy for nearly an hour and half before we could see the dunes clearly. Pls post this drive again in November.

    And I watched the video of one of you crisscrossing at the right end edge of the bowl. Inspiring. Well done.

    Drive Report:

    There were a couple of missed time calculations for reaching the meeting point. I was early by 45 min and @Rajiv Sam that he arrived about time thanks to @Joji varghese@Andrei S arrived on time but unfortunately his air conditioner was not working so he had to leave.

    After the briefing we started our drive at about 6:28 am. The temperature was about 27-28 degrees Celsius but due to humidity which was at 93%  it felt like 35 degrees, and it was super sweaty. I have a small gripe. I could see rest of the convoy with their AC on and closed widow glass up but due to poor visibility as it was not only foggy but also slightly overcast which was making it difficult for me to view and differentiate the sand and sky, I had to keep the window down.

    I was here a couple of times in this area. Once with my wife in a newbie drive last year and again further south with @JeromeFJ on an intermediate drive. But it was the first time I had driven in this area. We spent a lot of time in the first 10 km section at the start because it was so fun. We drove this 10km stretch which is about 1/3rd of the total planned track as crow flies for about 2 hours and then rushed towards the exit in last one hour and ended the drive at 9:35 which included 20 min break for a pop out as well. I found it interesting that the dunes would push me into the narrow technical area repeatedly and I had to keep getting out only to find myself back in the narrow technical area.

    For me it was an enjoyable drive with the entire convoy driving seamlessly and keeping up with the flow. It was in my opinion an elegant drive where we kept pace and drove as a unit.

    Thank you very much @Mehmet Volga for your presence and being the 2nd lead. it gave me a lot of confidence to drive the way I did today.

    Also big thanks to @Rajiv Sam, @Joji varghese and @Pacific for playing the crucial role of supporting the drive.

    @FERNANDO SYRIO, @Bashar Beasha and @Rk ram you guys were excellent and had a flawless drive. I am very impressed with your driving today.

    The FJ gang of @Hugo and @Mohit Gurnani did well as usual.

    All very experienced Jeep gang with @Naveen Raj, @Bjoern and 392 @Gok Krish were excellent as usual at the back.

    I will be looking forward to your comments on today's drive.

    Till we loop again in the dunes, have a great week ahead.

    Hey @Looper..thanks for the wonderful drive man...great fluency and speed in sequencing the challenges . Worth the waking up early in the morning! Parts of the drive touched Intermediate level and great everyone matched upto it.

    Thanks for joining in and for the great evening under the stars ! The weather was a blessing and although the terrain was mostly technical, i think we all had some good fun.

    @Gok Krish

    I hope your passenger felt better after exiting, at least he looked a lot better while inflating ;) These things happen and the combination of flickering flood lights and bumpy dunes do not make things easier.

    See you all soon in the sands again !

    Hello @Frederic @Srikumar and team, yes my passenger got comfortable on a way back home. We had prawns in curry leaves and paratha, all held good . During this incidence and similar, in my last 2 1/2 years, I hv been grateful to the Leads who always accommodate us or our passengers or the vehicle - when there is trouble.  Likewise, the rest of the team also bears with it just for the comfort of one....because this Carnity team cares this way, one day in a month should be called, Car(e)nity ... for the philosophy to be followed for generations to come.

    @Srikumar@Jona@Santoso Marjuki@Imran Kashif@Jaro Tuzinsky@Amr Aydin@Gok Krish

    This has become an all-IM member convoy :)

    As this is a new terrain we have not explored before, it might be tricky to ramp up the level but i will do my best and i have no doubt we will have our fun anyways.

    We will be using Channel 2: 446.031 Mhz

    See you all tomorrow evening !

    Looking forward to this exciting drive with a terrific convoy lead by @Frederic
