@Shaaz ShaThanks for an amazing drive today; it was full of fun and technical dunes; it was sad that it came to an end due to the unfortunate event; however, the most important take away was your safety, and thank God you are safe; I was amazed to see how composed and calm you were in such a difficult situation
@Ashok chaturvediThank you for keep us calm and showing how to handle such difficult situation
rest of the crew was fantastic, demonstrating great teamwork and showing what it means to be driving with @Carnity which is more like family.

@Hisham MasaadThanks for the amazing experience, after a 10mins warm up when you used your signature dialogue YALLA push,i had a big smile on my face that stayed there until we finished our ride, from big high speed dunes to a bit of technical drive,it had everything that was expected,as you rightly said in the end drives like these releases the work pressure you had throughout the week🙂
@Mohamad Anwer thanks to all for the support
Rest of the convey drove beautifully, with incredible control and confidence, we hope to drive with you soon in the desert @Joji varghese@Vaibhav

Hi @Waqas Parvez thats very neat. Looks like you have done the lift also, if so which one did you go with and what offset wheels? Did you get bigger tyres with the wheels as well or are these the stock 265/65s
Thanks,i have recently install suspension which gave almost only 0.4inch lift,my standard tyres were 19inch with 265/55 and the rims were 8inch in width, the new ones are 17inch with with 265/65 and rims are 9inch in width, with 0 offsets, after install the rims and tyres i felt significant improvement on road and off road drive.

@Rob S I agree. It enhances your approach angle and also offers your front tyre more space since it rubs against your mud guard at times, allowing your tyres to rotate freely.
@Asadanother issue with metal or aluminum bumpers is that when they are involved in an accident insurance will not cover them because they are illegal. Plastic bumpers, on the other hand, are designed in such a way that pedestrian collisions are not as fatal,my front skirting survived the Liwa Drive, but I saw it on another car split into two pieces and decided to replace it🙂, sharing below and after images

@Taimur Khan welcome to the Prado club, i had the same doubt but soon after joining carnity it was clarified, however i have seen people using 4low on high speed using 3rd and 4th gear, i have personally not tried it,but what i have heard it gives more power to your car 😀

@Shaaz ShaWhat an incredible drive that left me dumbfounded, We didn't need a warm-up; the big dunes started one after the other and never stopped; the drive was perfectly balanced with high-speed dunes and technical driving; always felt confident following your lead and trusting your track; would love to drive with you again.
@Thomas Varghese The should be named as Shaaz Bowl , thank you for sweeping
@munkybizness Perfect example of an CF and thank you for the recover.
@Ashok chaturvedi Thank for you guidance, having you among the convey gives a lot of confidence
Rest of the crew drove beautifully looking forward for more drives, I've uploaded a few photos to the gallery.

Thanks @Frederic, @Waqas Parvez and @Patrick van der Loo,
I was thinking the same about rear diff lock. I guess there is also an option of putting ARB Air locker or (probably easier) Eaton E-Locker in as rear diff lock if really later needed.
@Waqas Parvez and @Patrick van der Loo - I'm in exactly the same spot now: Looking at Prado Adventure 2021 vs Fortuner VRX 2019... however there is a significant price difference... Is there any other spec element that one needs to be careful about at selecting Prado? Like any key difference between GRX vs VRX and Adventure versions one needs to be aware of?
Fortuner top spec and exr prado has the same price tag,the 2022 exr comes with android and apple car play 7inch screen, the only difference between exr and gxr is sunroof,7 airbags (instead of 2 in exr),gxr comes with 19inch and exr comes with 18inch (which is better for offroading)

@Vasja Zupan welcome to the club and country, well i had the same question and but after speaking with lot of dealers and online research i bought a Prado(gxr 2022) ,i drove both of the cars, prado suspension and overall comfort is way better than fortuner on turn you feel more confident in Prado, prado engine is more powerful and gear ratios are improved compared to fortuner although they have the same engine, prado are always on H4 this gives better control while driving,i have been driving my prado for 4 months on road and off road it is always on H4,therefor i just simply deflate my tyres while driving in desert.
You asked about rear diff lock, well it has center diff lock which is more than enough to challenge any terrain,i only use it incase im stuck (which is very rare 😀)the electronic 4wheel driving system is amazing in prado distributing power equally and at the right time when you need it, ground clearance is not any issue if your buying gxr,vxr has additional front and rear bumper lips and side skirts, they always have leather seats which are not recommended for offroad because they have heated and cool seat with some tiny holes eventually all the sand will be stuck in it
The only modification i did so far is skid plate they come with 2mm i have installed a 8mm thick skid plate, not sure if i have missed anything but incase you have any more questions and need assistance you reach out to me 🙂
