  1. @Looper I have taken the liberty to add myself to the drive as there seems to be a few slots available and the time to finalize your convoy is drawing nearer.
    But I’m tentative as yet as not aware of family commitments and can confirm by evening.
    Is this ok to do? Please advice. Hope I will not be a disappointment if I cancel back by evening. Please advice if this is acceptable.

  2. Great drive with a wonderful trail selected. I remember a previous drive also with @Hisham Masaadon this same track. The rolling dunes towards the latter half were fantastic.

    Thanks a lot @Emanuel, @Benjamin for the SL and Centre.

    @Issam Atra, your handling of the Cherokee was fantastic to watch powering up the climbs.

    The weather is still quite hot as the day progressed. My vehicle did not overheat but was venting out coolant from the reservoir vent (just as it is supposed to be), but was kept continuously monitoring the temperature on my ODBII display towards the end. Thankfully it was all good.

    See you all soon.

  3. @Varun Mehndiratta

    Wonderful drive and route taken! There was quite a bit of fauna seen along the way. Qudra always has breathtaking scenery.

    How you managed with the sand and the wind in your vehicle amazed me dear. It was quite rough at times.

    I perfectly will take note and improve on my radio communication. Thanks for the advice. And will immediately get the tires replaced. Will no longer push my luck now. That scare was enough.

     @Frans M , @Ishak, great in the SL roles.

     @Tharun Kumar V Your support in the centre was rock solid bro, and congrats for the new level up. Thanks for noticing the drop in pressure.

     @Ahmad Nerat , You managing the LC the in the tight terrain was amazing.

     @Mark B , @Pranjal Varsani1, @Gary F, @Rajat Verma, @rohit kumar - The big boys with mean machines, amazing convoy, it was a pleasure seeing you all.

     @Karthik Raptor commendable sweep, we all were assured having you dear.

    This was a flowing drive. All were driving nice and fluidly. Will look forward to seeing you all again.

    @Islam Soliman appreciate the acceptance to join quite late yesterday.
    Thanks once more to all to make this a memorable morning.

  6. A wonderful morning, perfect weather and even perfect convoy. Thanks @Hisham Masaad for a memorable and an amazingly excellent route. The weaving drive just before we encountered the wheel issue was amazing.

    @Mohamad Anwer Mashallah, your wonderful vehicle powering up the very top of the dunes was a sight to see. As much exciting it would have been for you going up, exactly the same it was for us seeing your rocket ship coast up the top.

    It was amazing for me to see each of you without exception so competently take on the climbs. @TT_Dubai it was reassuring to see you at the sweep.

  7. @Brette @Pacific @Sunil Mathew @DP1011 , Deepak wrangler
    Thank you brothers for a wonderful morning drive. Appreciate your efforts throughout.

    Apologies to the rest of the convoy for heading out earlier in the very end without a goodbye to all as needed to rush for a bio-call.
    My radio battery was totally gone so couldn't announce it, especially to @Emanuel who was just ahead of me in the drive.
    See you all soon. Cheers!

  8. Thanks a million guys for great drive.
    To all in the group, thanks a million for your patience during the repeated refusals from the start.
    @marksRightly pointed out a faulty tyre pressure in the very beginning, by then I was jittery, very conscious and nervous till the end which would ensure the vehicle would just not power up any considerable slope because I would chicken out before the car I felt or maybe the 2008 Pajero is ageing up on compression.

    @Sanjay Malik, @Shaaz Sha @GauravSoni thanks for your supporting words.

    @George Joubranappreciate you looking out and maintaining distance as I would be failing climbs frequently.

    A great takeaway was there was that all stucks and refusals were very clearly and precisely guided leading to not a single shovel or tow rope used throughout the drive.

    Love you guys! Cheers!

  9. @M.SeidamMy appreciation for this weekday drive. This is an apt getaway between the sands while the wifey thinks Im working somewhere in a pile of A4 papers. 🤣

    @Vanessa8580@GregoryThanks for tips on extending the gear shift longer on my Pajero. Will be trying out the tiptronic next time around.

    Thanks all for joining to make this a wonderful drive today. Will look forward to these mid week drives if we can.
