Jeepie
After watching the sun come up, the convoy was moving along the track and across the cycle track to find the dunes waiting for us. We started of slowly and everybody was doing great; trying to pick up the speed and finding places to do some criss crossing, we soon got the first refusals and a few stucks. With @Tamas Hoffmann as centre forward and @Kalahari as sweep most issues were quickly resolved until we had a bit more challenging stuck with @Goutam in a soft pocket and Tamas in a difficult position. Kalahari managed to get them both out, without getting himself stuck. My second lead was @Mohamed Seidam and you did well; keeping the right amount of distance and holding position to allow me to scout the area when necessary. @Sajit Modiyilyou must have done well because I hardly heard you and you were always right on Mohameds tail. @Nizam Deen you drove well, but try to read the drive thread before the drive, so you know where to go and what channel we are on. @Abu Muhammad apart from ending up in a soft pocket once, you manage the beast quite well as far as I could tell. @Goutam @Karthik Krishnakumar, @Neale Faulkner and @Craig Finlayson you all did well, but I think it helps when Jeeps are following a Jeep😉. Although I understand the attraction between Jeeps, it is wise to keep some distance. Hope the yellow Jeeps sorted things out and the damage is small. @Kalahari kept a great overview of the whole convoy, always positioning yourself in the best spot. Great teamwork and thank you all for the support and patience.See you again soon 3 3

Popular Post Vanessa8580
Drive report When I woke up this morning, I wasn't feeling particularly well, I had a headache and my back was a bit painful but after a painkiller and a nice shower, I was ready to roll. It was nice to see that everyone came on time and at the right meeting point. Because it was a combined drive, we had to split the convoy in 2 and make sure the meeting points were not the same. After a radio check and a quick briefing we started moving with @Jeandre Bezuidenhout as my second lead, @Foxtrot Oscar in centre forward and my hubby @Frederic in sweep position. I have to say, it was the smoothest drive so far under my lead. Everyone drove amazingly well and we had no stucks and only 2 refusals which were resolved in 2 minutes under the guidance of @Foxtrot Oscar. We also maintained a very good speed and momentum and we drove 63 km in almost 3 hours which is really well done ! I had a great time and the weather was amazing and I am pretty sure the rest of the convoy also enjoyed themselves. I heard no complains. Well done everyone and see you next time .... 8

I hope I tried my best . @Tamas Hoffmann our center forward , thank you for recovering me from that little ridge and for helping the others when needed. @Kalahari the maestro of the day I would say thank you for watching our back and the precise instructions when ever was needed. it was real pleasure driving with you all guys today. take care till the next round cheers 🚙🙏🏻👍
