Thank you @Thomas Varghese for the detailed write up.😄👍 What a day guys!!!.perfect....chilling weather, light shower, and an incredible convoy...what more could you want for? After the radio check and briefing, we started 20 minutes late, waiting for the sunrise. We had a surprising member in the convoy, @Ashok chaturvedi, who ended up in the wrong meeting point today, trying to join @Frederic on the Batayah Drive. As we got started, the rain became a little heavier, and we had a mix of terrains...except rock. It was muddy in some spots, incredibly soft on the dunes' top, and hard at some places. But the convoy was ready for anything, and we had a thrilling and beautiful drive. With some drizzle , some greenery, Sand Gazelles, Oryxes, and Camels, the landscape was breathtaking.Though we didnt expected any stucks today..we had to deal with a few and couple of pop outs towards the end of the drive. Every driver in the convoy were incredible today and Thank you @Thomas Varghese for a superb second lead. you did a great job today considering the diversities in the track. Thanks to @Joji varghese, @Rsjiv Samuel, @Fabien Monleau, @Mohamad Anwer, @Gilbert Khalil, @MMansoor, @munkybizness, @Javier Lucero, @Gok Krish and @Ashok chaturvedi for signing up and joining the drive. Well done dear @Shaaz Sha actually that was my initial plan but in the reverse direction Lisaili to solar via murqab and Faqa . But this wouldn’t be possible without passing a high tech parches at the outline of the buffer zone. Alternatively Qudra completed my intended spunk of three different areas with a terrain of their owns.
Thank you @M.Seidam.. before the start i thought we might come across and say hello some where in murquab or lisali.. or at least at the end.. but then i saw ur message of extending the drive.😄

Thank you guys for signing up and It was a fantastic day for off-roading, and I'm sure you all had as much fun as I did. We started our drive at 7.20 a.m., a few minutes late due to the sunrise, and it was a fantastic drive. Our original intention was to start from Faqa, behind the police station, but we had to change it due to covid regulations and the risk of crossing the border by driving too close to it in case of unanticipated events. My plan was to get to the solar park through Muquab and Lisali if time permits,or else to exit via Murquab or Lisali . You guys, on the other hand, were amazing today and drove to perfection. We traveled approximately 65 kilometers in 3 hours and 34 minutes at an average moving pace of 24 kilometers, and we could arrive at our goal in 4 hours and 20 minutes with all our breaks in between. I believe we got the most out of the terrain, and I enjoyed how colorful you made it. Every driver in the convoy gave it their all...amazing job, guys. We had to cope with a few refusals, stucks, and a pop out, and thanks to @Thomas Varghese for your help with the heavy jack..😜. Thank you for all those beautiful pictures man 👍👏. With you and @Charbel in the convoy, I realized it was worthless to try my photography talents,But still stried a few clicks. Thanks to @Ranjan Das for a fantastic second lead and for your valuable feedback and suggestions on the track. Thanks to @Matt.T for a well-executed CF role, and to @Alexander Alcala for sweeping us all safely to the end and for sharing your experiences at Chile desert🙏.. Thank you @Charbel for feed back on the drive and it was a pleasure to drive with you. The other wrangler boys @Anoop Nair and @Pacific ..you guys were at your best today and it was nice to see you having fun. @Amir Amiriit was nice to see you and you managed your beast wonderfully today..it was not an easy job taking it through those technical patches .. well done buddy. @Ahab Shamaa..it was a pleasure meeting and driving with you after soo long.. as always you were great. Thank you guys and see you soon. some Pics in the gallery..

It was a freezing morning today, with temperature just about 19 degrees, and we were all prepared and ready at the meeting point. We cautiously entered the desert after the radio check and briefing. Due to recent downpour, the sand had compacted to the point that it was as good as driving on an unpaved road. We had all excellent trails to follow after around half an hour of driving, and thank you @Brette for a wonderful morning drive. It was a- step up -from a newbie drive, and I hope everyone liked it as much as I did. Everyone in the convoy performed admirably,👍 and I enjoyed it even more because there were no stranded vehicles.😃😃 We had very few minor refusals and didn't utilize any of our recovery gears like, rope or a shovel. We had two breaks to stretch our legs, and during the second break, we discovered that @Quresh Motiwala car had a semi-pop out, which was quickly sorted out. You all were incredible today , and I appreciate everything you did to make it such a wonderful day. Thank you so much to @Patrick van der Loo for a fantastic second lead. @Joao, the FJ member did a great job buddy. you are in sync with your car had no issues at all.👏 The Pajero boys @Emanuel @Mohammed Talib Ali Rizvi, @BHANU PRAKASH VISHWANATH and @Quresh Motiwala... you guys did an excellent job. Keep up the good work, gentlemen. @ASAD. did a fantastic job maneuvering, and it was lovely to watch you cruise so smoothly, keep it up buddy. @Nathanand @Mark D : The big boys did a fantastic job. @Nathan'Thank you for a well-executed CF part. You both did a terrific job with your beast trucks today @Antony Abraham, after the early refusals, you did a fantastic job with your wrangler and made it all the way to the exit. Keep up the good work👏. @Jose Thomasthe Xterra guy (like me 😊 ) Boyyy you kept the Xterra pride up... 👍😄. It was nice meeting you in carnity convoy after our first meeting in the sand months ago. You did a fantastic job, friend. In the gallery, some of my photographic experiments...(seriously, I'm working hard to improve it. 😆 😜) Thank you so much, and I hope to see you again soon.

Hello..Thank you @M.Seidam for the opportunity to take over your drive and it was a fantastic drive. Every one in the convoy were deflated and ready when I reached the meeting point. After the briefing, we started slowly and cautiously since some changes in the dune formation, which was already informed to me by @Ale Vallecchi and @M.Seidam. After a few minutes of drive we were all set with the nature of the terrain and every one drove to perfection. We had to deal with a couple of stucks and thanks to @Ashok chaturvedi for the tugs and helps in recoveries and for sweeping the convoy to safety . Great job sir. Thank you @Santoso Marjuki for a perfect second lead. It was a pleasure meeting you after long time. You did a great job today buddy. . @FARAZ MOHAMMED did well today with his pajero and could see you ready for all the challenges. 👏👏. @Alfred Alinazar..struggled a little bit at the beginning especially on the climbs and did great towards the end of the drive. Good job bro.👍. @Tom B man.. You were amazing today with you LC. Didn't seem to have any issues in conquering the track. 👏👏. @Harshad Ashraf it seems like you are not completely in sync with your beast. You struggled at some points and had to re route...but its all ok and a few more drives with your LC will definitely give you more comfy drives. Keep up the spirit buddy 👍. @Felix Obst..man you were incredible.. Did soo well on the side slops and it was a treat for the eyes.👏👏👍. @Waqas Parvez.. The prado boy. You did amazing today buddy. It was all churned up track for you..but drove brilliantly, Did excellent 🤐🤐👍. It was a pleasure driving with all of you and hope to see you soon in the sand
