Echoing @Warren Flay words, what a fantastic drive the morning!!

@Mehmet Volga your drives never fail to deliver, especially when a convoy such as this gels so well together and we manage to have some good banter along the way!

The sand was super soft and I found it quite challenging in areas, but it’s drives like this that really help develop one’s skills. Appreciated also the opportunity to take on 2L position. 

I hope everyone else enjoyed the drive.

Not great unfortunately! Currently laid up in the garage. Turns out I completely bent the front left shock absorber!! Didn't come down on the front left particularly hard on that last criss cross, so perhaps it has progressively weakened over the last few drives...? Anyway - trying to source a new front and back suspension kit so I can get back on the sand ASAP!

@Srikumar thank you for an amazing drive this morning. Even though I had to bow out slightly early, the drive was still amazing! Found myself needing to push hard in areas, but all good for building up one’s confidence and skill levels. I definitely will be returning to Sweihan as soon as another drive is posted. 

@Chris Wing and @Josh T., thanks for performing CF and sweep duties today. Great support. 
 

And to the rest of the convoy, apologies for causing a small break in your drive time and having to get me out. Fortunately I managed to get myself home and now have an excuse to change out my stock hydraulic suspension for a set of kings!! 

Hi @MMansoor, I couldn't help but notice your rather smart bumper yesterday. I think the time has come for me to do something about mine. It's starting to get quite battered on the corners and I am interested in installing a cut away style like yours.

The meeting point has been updated on the drive post. Also, since we have a long WL of members looking for a first drive of the weekend, incase you are unable to make it please sign out in advance so that the rest can get a drive this weekend. We would be starting early at 6:00 AM.

Expect a fast paced drive with plenty of opportunity to shovel and self recover your cars. Also, as we are visiting this area after a gap of more than a few months this would be a part exploration drive as well. 

Convoy Numbering and radio channel would be posted on Saturday evening.
