Try using 2 pipelines to inflate 2 tires each. I believe I have seen 2 out going pipelines from this compressor to inflate so that you take advantage of the 4 cylinders all at once rather than using it as a double cylinder compressor by using only a single pipe line.

Honestly i was kind of expecting that.
More cylinders = more heat, and on top of that if this thing really pulls +90 AMPS then your alternator will suffer too, resulting in a voltage drop, which will then again result in less performance.
I think these compressors are great for "occasional use" but not for a weekly dedicated offroader.
He had to use heavy duty wiring from the battery to the compressor as the initial wiring provided just burned up after some time. It maybe this incident which created the short circuit which finally damaged the compressor.
The compressor only inflates the tires at the usual rate for a double cylinder which is 300L/min. The 4 cylinders are to be used with 2 different pipelines.- 1

Hi @Thomas Varghese that model is definitely a good improvement over the UV5R (which has been in production for a long time already).
The fact that it's 10W is not so important. Most Chinese brands hardly put over 3Watts in real life testing. What is a plus point is the bigger battery which should have longer durability.
Plus the sound quality is much better and interference due to static is minimal. For the 1st time in all my drives till date I could hear the communication so clearly

Hey Guys,
Went to DM last eve and bought the Golden camel double cylinder (the red one) for 265 aed.
Tried 10 different shops. no one wanted to budge from 280 aed. Some of them had no hoses, no carry bags etc.
Finally found a bangladeshi guy who let it go for 265 aed and gave me a new box. It comes with the compressor, long hose with a pressure monitor and a carry bag. Bag seems cheap and would tear apart in 2 weeks.
No warranty offered whatsoever, but i got it checked with a small battery at the shop. Fingers crossed. Shop guy bluntly said it will work for 1 week or 1 year or 10 years depending on my luck. He even muttered a small prayer for the compressor to workAlso bought Crony MT777 for 115 aed and a flag mount with suction cup for 85 aed.
Can share the shop names and details if required. Please share the name of the shop for the compressor on my whatsapp 0552690503. My existing single cylinder Camel bid me farewell after inflating 3 tires during last drive. No complaints though and has regards for its service for 1 year and 3 months. Has done inflation for 95 drives which roughly translates to 2.25 AED cost per drive as it cost me 230 AED back then. The compressor I bought for 60 AED from Amazon told me to get lost after my initial 3 drives. I was too in experienced to differentiate between a good compressor and a bad one those days. Now its time to buy my 3rd one.

Be careful with this compressor. The 1 @Shaaz Sha bought with much expectation failed in less than 4 months and is now total scrap. The 4 cylinder for this compressor is to inflate with 2 different air pipe lines for a single or double tire. The compressor had a problem too. It tends to get hot very fast and Shaaz had to keep the compressor running inside his car with the AC on so as to cool the motor. Plus the compressor is too heavy to be transported to the bonnet and back and has to be fixed permanently. The problem with that compressor was the electronic board just got fried. Once the board was repaired and refixed the motor fried up. Will try rewinding the motor if possible and will post the outcome if successful.

The Crony has less interference issues. The Baofeng models are great too but some of them need some finetuning to get rid of the interference and static.
@Frederic did you try out the new Baofeng BF-UV9RPlus? I bought it a couple of days ago from Dragon Mart for 130 AED. 1 thing I noticed with this high power two way radio is it has very less interference, more richer sound from the speakers and build quality looks much better than the UV5R models. Snugly fits inside the palm as its much bigger due to bigger battery as its 10W. Tried it already in last drive and results were satisfactory.

1st of all I thank God to have made me participate in this drive so that I could meet some men and a woman who has nerves of steel. People who had looked so ordinary turned out to be super heroes. Thanks @Shaaz Sha the lead, @Ashok chaturvedi the SL, @Vaibhav, @Waqas Parvez, @topgear, @Aisha S, @Pacific the CF, @Gilbert Khalil, @Davie Chase, @MMansoor who all showed up on time for the drive so that we could start our drive on time.
The start of the drive I was feeling excited as I have never driven in this area and didn't see any cross tracks which showed its not a very frequented area by off roaders. The start was exciting with some low level side sloping, ridge riding, and cross overs at a medium pace right from the meeting point. The drive proceeded with minimal refusals and few stucks which gave the opportunity to take out the shovel and the rope. I appreciate @Aisha S & @Davie Chase for fully understanding the club's instruction of staying put wherever you are when the car in front is having trouble negotiating the terrain. They stopped and patiently waited for the car in front to get out of the situation even risking themselves stuck in that awkward position and meanwhile helping out the driver with shovel and clear instructions and also everybody else for keeping the radio channel free for the lead and support team to use. As our marshals have always instructed us this is perfectly ok and less stressful for the lead and support team rather than worsening the situation by crashing into each other. Well done.
The drive proceeded excitingly for the convoy and soon found @Mehmet Volga's & @Kailas's convoy on the way. It was nice to exchange greetings and pleasantries with them and we moved on to other parts of the desert to explore. Soon I found myself in a very precarious situation stuck at almost 50 to 60 degree angle on the side of a small slip face. I had to call the support of @Shaaz Sha & @Pacific to rescue me from this tricky situation. Meanwhile friends like @Davie Chase, @MMansoor, @Gilbert Khalil & finally the 2nd lead @Ashok chaturvedi chipped in with their shovels and tried to dislodge my car from the sand wall build up. @Davie Chase gave me the gentlest of pulls to yank me out but didn't help much and we were worried the car may roll down the slip face. Good job buddy and I can sincerely recommend you to tug me out anytime as it was a very professional pull you executed. Don't bother about not being successful. The crucial point is your pull didn't cause a roll over. Anything hard would have definitely triggered a disaster. Finally @Shaaz Sha's experience as a lead paid off by shovelling more at the right places and after a bit of left right, blip blip accelerator the sand slowly released its grip on my car and it slowly slid down and we all sighed with relief and proceeded again in our drive.
The 2nd part of this drive is when I saw @Ashok chaturvedi stopped in a position which resembled a crest and somebody I think it was @Waqas Parvez or @Vaibhav shouting frantically into the radio don't follow Shaaz to Ashok. As there was no reply from Shaaz I immediately rerouted from my position along with @MMansoor to reach where Shaaz was, to check out on him. I found Shaaz alright sitting inside his car but the windscreen broken and some minor scratches on its sides. Shaaz pushed open his door and calmly walked out. The rest of the convoy followed the path I took and joined us. The X surely had a roll over and had a double pop out on its left side. Shaaz explained what had taken place. As he was coming down straight from the top of the dune his front driver side wheel dug into the super soft sand as it was a slip face and resulted in a pop out throwing out the momentum of the car into a disarray. Even while the car was rolling down he had the presence of mind to switch off the engine, crouch into the seat protecting the head from banging on the roof. Well God was also on our side and he came out unhurt. This was the time I saw a perfectly behaved convoy. Nobody crowded over the car, nobody tried to be a vocal hero, everybody pitched in with their physical efforts to recover the car. @Ashok chaturvedi slowly winched out the car from its position to flat ground. Then we saw the lady @Aisha S in action. She coordinated the efforts to fix the jack under the car and saw to it that the pop outs were fixed soon after. @Aisha S proud to have driven with you and I promise will drive with you anytime.
The 3rd part of the drive was when the X proved what a car it is. It showed us why its called the mighty X. It sure is the mighty X. Right after fixing the pop out and getting rid of the cracked windscreen @Shaaz Sha simply drove out from the desert in the X as if nothing happened. Everyone followed him in the convoy order. The X maybe injured but not out and certainly will not limp. Proud to own this breed of car. It saved the driver from any injuries and after some care could drive itself out from this to exit.
I want to stress something which I learned from this incident. All the drivers and club members should be aware of the risks the trip leads take to keep us entertained in the drive. The importance of a good 2nd lead. The lead is driving and driving through unknown terrain where there are no roads or sign boards to warn them of the dangers below. Desert is a very dangerous place. Shouldn't drive without paying absolute attention. Some people say this Marshal is exciting that marshal is ok or another marshal is boring. There is nothing like that. They drive and take the lead so that we can learn to drive offroading in the most safest way. We should be respectful of the risks they take. They too have a family waiting for them to reach home just like all of us. Shaaz plus point is he takes us through unchartered areas of the desert where few people venture into. This makes his drives exciting but remember all fun has its risks too. He took the risk so that we can enjoy the offroading experience. The other important lesson I learned from this is never drive in the desert or anywhere without wearing the seat belt. 100% it was the seat belt which protected him from flying around in the car when the roll over happened.
Other than this everything went smoothly at the police station for the police report. Once the car was inspected by police they released the car and its right now reached its garage for repairs on a recovery truck.
Thanks everybody for joining the drive. It was my honor to have driven with such level headed drivers in a convoy. See you soon in the sands.
Pictures will be posted in the gallery as soon I can transfer them from the camera to my computer.- 5

Absolutely agree with @Davie Chase. A very fast paced drive which made me think if @Hisham Masaad has already started training to see how fast he can take a convoy through semi technical areas to compete for next year Desert Champion contest. Enjoyed from start to finish. Despite the pace, the soft sands, cross tracks the convoy performed very well. The CF @Looper could enjoy his drive as everybody drove well with minimal refusals and ZERO stucks which shows the strength of the convoy in negotiating such terrain. Everybody from the 2nd lead @Joji varghese, @Junaid120120, @topgear, @Rsjiv Samuel, @Davie Chase, @Sunil Mathew, @Chris Wing, @Daniel Yang drove with finesse to the leads satisfaction.
See you all soon in the sands.

An excellent early morning drive on a weekend by @Ale Vallecchi. Had all the hallmarks of an Ale drive. From Point A to Point B with a convoy who doesn't shy of the route or challenges. Of course its an IM level drive and this is what is expected. The radio was silent 99% of the time except Ale transmitting about the unexpected bumps in between or about the encounters with camels and oryx's.
All the drivers showed up on time and we started the drive with Ale giving the convoy order just before the drive as expected of a Mystery Drive. I was expecting to be the 2nd lead as I had been his 2nd lead in number of drives now and yes he recruited me to be his 2nd lead. Thank you Ale for the confidence in me. Hope I had fulfilled your expectations. @Dodi Syahdar got his only chance for pulling out a car today when @Anoop Nair got his Jeep crested. The rest of the time he could just enjoy his drive while sweeping the convoy. I believe this speaks about the expertise of all the drivers who participated in the drive.
Some pictures are posted in the gallery.
Thank you all for joining the drive and see you soon again in the sands.- 5

Dear Desertnauts
"Mystery is defined as something that is secret".... and a mystery the drive will be. No information as to where we are going, where we are exiting, or when. No info about the convoy order (which is ready, but will be announced tomorrow morning).
Just a meeting and deflation point, to be reached as close to 7:00 am as possible:
Dropped pin
https://maps.app.goo.gl/HxCgwXds3QHjDSdR8We'll be heading to the main area of the drive, through a novel route, which will lead us to enter it from a new angle. From there on, we'll keep improvising.
The Carnity Radio Channel of choice will be #4 (446.081)
@Thomas Varghese, @Rawad, @Charbel, @Pacific, @Zixuan Huang - Charlie, @Chris Wing, @Xavier Treasurer, @Anoop Nair, @Jorge Stepniak Felippe, and @Dodi Syahdar, see you all tomorrow morning
Exciting.

OMG 11 drivers waiting anxiously in the wait list. Though I love @Shaaz Sha's drive I left it this week for this reason. I have done 7 drives with Shaaz in a row and love everyone of those drives irrespective of their levels. It is better Shaaz post another drive same day afternoon so that the drivers in the waitlist won't be disappointed. If that's fine with Shaaz I will join the convoy after my morning drive.

@Shaaz Shathanks for the amazing driving experience today! It was my first fewbie+ drive and when i saw how aggressive we start the day got quite nervous as i wasnt sure if i could keep up with the rest of the team but seeing you guys being so confident and excited i relaxed and i really enjoyed the high dunes, especially after adjusting my tyre pressure…what a rookie mistake!
@munkybiznessthank you very much for your help recovering from my refusals!
@Ashok chaturvediexcellent 2nd lead that filled me confidence not to hesitate at any time, thanks
Hope to see you most of you guys next week!

I would have gladly taken a 5/10 on that. You’re much too kind.
The real reason for me doing any of it right really goes to @Ashok chaturvedi keeping a keen eye on Junaid’s steering and for you shepherding from the ridges. Will definitely learn to improve my control and care in future 🙏🏽
I gave you 8 out of 10 because I never saw your wheels spinning and getting bogged down in the soft sand while climbing up with a dead weight tied to your car. Its not your mistake the rope got entangled 1 time. Junaid should have controlled the deacceleration of his car and applied his brakes when he sees your car slowing down. Before you both started the exercise I had instructed Junaid to control his car's momentum while you deaccelerate by ensuring he can see the rope tied to your car in a taut state. That's the only limited control he had on his engine shut car. Limited steering and limited braking.

Drive Report
What a beautiful morning chilly and awakening especially when you are driving in a short convoy ( 5 cars ) with amazing fine people like you guys. after rearranging the convoy and the brief we immediately moved meeting the dunes in a moderately technical area till we encountered our only true stuck situation when @Alphin Aloor got his Xterra bogged in a super soft sand sideways with an angle of more than a bit of 45 degree to the imaginary horizontal or how it looked to us . ( please if any one has more pictures you can download it to Gallery please ) . every one maintained coolness helping in handing the situation especially Alphin who remained calm. after assessing the situation i took the decision to anchor the car from its rare and front tow points thanks to @Looperand @Davie Chase using a winch and rope respectively. clearing the wall of sand and with impeccable coordination the nose of the car came down and eventually out.
we continued till we reached little sweihan and that was epic every one enjoyed to the content of their heart , i did , sliding sloping looping crossing in a faster pace and yet safe. leaving this area to the next part of the loop along the long range dunes and then back across a patch of technical and sabkha to the dirt track tward solar park scipping the track fro its 1/3 of its end to complete the loop through the technical part where we have started.
@Davie Chase flawless driving , vigilant and attentive and on several occasions before i speak on the radio you were a step ahead rerouting and correcting what is needed . your second lead was to perfection my friend pleasure having you in any drive.
@Alphin Aloor you drove very good today , your stuck gave us all today a chance to think of some difficult recovery situation solution and you were impressive in your calmness and handling your car upon instructions.
@Daniel Rodas i could hear the roar of your pagero as its telling i want more 😄 , you were brilliant my friend .
@Looper our new support member and sweep today , definitely some loops were needed thank you for being in the back watching us like a hawk.
thank all again for this beautiful day out , stay tuned for the the next loop soon ( the loop II )
cheers
@M.Seidam thank God you could recover @Alphin Aloor's Xterra. Read the description and understood how precarious the situation was. God Bless You.

Truth be told, last night when the convoy order was uploaded, I was both excited and nervous to see myself in the CF position. Having seen so many other amazing CFs in this club with much more seniority and experience than me, it was a tremendous opportunity and responsibility. Of course, with such amazing drivers around, I also had little to do because there was so much wisdom available from all quarters. For trusting me with this role, and then coaching me, guiding me, and helping me learn so much more, thank you so much @Shaaz Sha. I'm deeply grateful for the experience and the confidence.
Add to this, two strong, sharp, precise and insightful voices in the form of @Ashok chaturvedi and @Thomas Varghese, and it was more a case of following a crisp masterclass than using much of my own faculty. Thank you both for your guidance, insights and encouraging words today. It is truly an honour to drive with you.
@Stav - for your first FB+ drive in this area with the pace that Shaaz throws at you, you did really well. The refusals were mostly due to letting off the throttle before the crests. In soft sand areas such as these, it's always a tough balance to strike. You'll find your sweet spot in no time. Thanks to you, I got the chance to break out my brand new recovery rope & shackles
@Waqas Parvez - you make that Prado look so good - great drive!
@Vaibhav - following you, you made it look so easy and you were setting an excellent pace, so much so that at times, I had to force myself to increase the gap even if I was enjoying being the wagon on your train so much.
@Rsjiv Samuel - I had the opportunity to view your lines in my rear-view and they were sublime. You kept excellent distance, used it really well to build momentum and rerouted when you saw me bouncing on the bumps. All in all, you set a great line for the rear end of the convoy.
@imranaasghar81 - Shaaz really loves you (and us). We literally started our drive with a high dune . We're using you to send in drive route suggestions in the future.
@MMansoor - didn't catch much of your drive but you looked so relaxed, I'm certain it was fun in your order and any sand that Waqas and I hadn't churned up, you definitely would have
@Junaid120120 - Great job for keeping your cool through the entire ordeal, and for giving me the opportunity to try my first offroad tow-tug. I hope you got your recovery sorted. And that the issue is fixed soon.
See you all out on the sands again soon 🐵
@munkybizness yes you are right. The best role you played today as CF was the tugging of @Junaid120120's dead weight car after the radiator leak. I won't say it was 100% perfect but on a scale of 1 to 10 I will give you a score of 8. Pretty good for someone who is doing it for the 1st time. I noticed you didn't struggle much when climbing up with a dead weight tied to your car, not because you had a powerful car but because your throttle control was correct. Why I didn't give you 10 out of 10 is because when you slowed down the rope behind you became too slack and I was afraid it would entangle with Junaid's car tire. By the grace of God it happened only once. Yes Junaid should have applied brakes to slow down when you slowed down but when you are towing someone who is already stressed by the mechanical failure of a brand new car the towing driver shouldn't slow down. I know in time you will master this art too

The Ultimate Compressor Review 2021

You can get these wires at a building material shop which is used for DB dressing. Insist on Ducab or RR Kabeel brand. The wires are flexible if used for DB dressing rather than buying for general purpose.
