  1. Hey Mate

I got my self a 2nd bumper from Sharjah Industrial Area, trimmed it and added skidplates. The one who did it for me has a nice setup for the facelift patrol. 0544433956 whatsapp me and I will share the pictrurs with you

You have two options if this is not convinient for you, either you fabricate one out of fiberglass (many garages do that) or install one of the steel bullbars like ARB, and Predator (all Australian patrols have them)

Fibarglass bars are weak, while steel ones are too heavy, so I found it best to have the two worlds combined by having a hybrid one

    Cheers

  2. Hi @ZULFIKHAR NAIYAR

Go for a white LE with 18 inch wheels for the following reasons

1- you will need each and every hp and torque you can squeeze out of the LE VK56VD engine. This is a heavy beast and its power/weight ratio isn't the best

2- you need 18 inch wheels to maximise the tiers sidewall. So at least start with the OEM ones that come with LE version. My tiers recommendation is 275/70R18 that comes around the same diameter as the stock ones

3- the Nissan Patrol is on every corner, and hence the scrap market is full of spare parts. But 99% are white cars. So if you're ok with a white color, it will save you some painting jobs

4- LE comes with conventional suspension system (springs, dampers, and sway bars). Its easier to repair or modify than the HBMC that comes with Titanium and Platinum versions

The number of KMs isn't really indicative for this car as much as how well its previous owner took care of it. If you can find a GCC one with agency service history then your good I believe. Nevertheless, this beast isn't gonna be easy on the pockets when it comes for mechanical repairs. On the bright side, again, lots and lots of 2nd hand spare parts

If you get the LE version, the bumpers can survive newbie and fewbie drives. But you will need to figure them out afterwards. Tiers, skid plates and clearance, other than that, you wont need any mod unless you wanna go dunes jumping

I personally drive a 2019 Patrol and its a blast once you figure out how to control 3 tons on sand

  4. Just commenting regarding the gear storage inside the car

I got this from Amazon and it fits everything inside unless you have a jack

It fits a kinetic rope and shackles, AOR shovel, camel compressor, tools set, water spray, jumper cables, cable ties, ductape, tire valve cores, a knife, luggage ropes, cargo strap, medkit, and fire extinguisher which is better to have it available within your reach under the driver or passenger seats for example

I use luggage ropes to strap it to the trunk's anchor points. Wrap the rope around the handle of the box and then connect both ends to the anchor. Wrap it multiple times for tightening

The more stuff inside the box, the less they juggle while driving 😅

  5. What a blast to have this going on regularly so we can blow off some steam in the middle of the week and be all warmed up for the weekend drives

Amazing partial lead by @Hisham Masaadand I can't wait to hold you to your promise when your a leader, you will take us out everyday 😂😂

Thanks to @Chaitanya Dfor the 2nd half of the drive. Those night adventures are super addictive. The adrenaline rush that comes with criss crossing into the abyss in total darkness is just something out of this world

Thanks to @M.Seidamfor your kindness and generosity by offering your ride and save our drive. Amazing self recovery from that pocket 💪💪

@Russ I don't know what your doing but your recovery skills keeps  amazing me week after week. Keep it up bro, you're awesome 👌👌

@Anoop Nair @Charbel @Pacific @Zixuan Huang - Charlie @Batuhan Kulac and @Zed you are all great drivers. I had no trouble at the back thanks to your skills

The couple of recoveries we've done were awesome as well. Specially the pocket that swallowed @Chaitanya D and @Hisham Masaad. It was very amusing watching our experienced leaders come out of such a nasty situation

@Zed its a crime to have a Y62 sent to the mall 😂😂. I am quite sure you will discover the true potential of the beast when you modify the bumpers and have appropriate departure and approaching angles

    See you all soon 🤙🤙
