ABOUT THIS CLUB

Enthusiast Photographers in the UAE have the benefit of having one of the most beautiful scenic landscapes in the world at their hands, and all just a drive away from one of the most modern cities you will find in the Middle East. 

Carnity Offroad Club has more than 800 off-road enthusiasts and this gives us the ability to leave the beaten track and find the perfect location for taking stunning photos in the deserts and mountains of UAE. 

This club focuses on photography in general, either made with your smartphone, or DSLR, or Drone. You can share your photos in the blog section, but the aim is also to post your questions and create a community where we can help each other.

We regularly organize events such as meteor shower spotting, astrophotography, and landscape photography.

When joining the club, please introduce yourself with your interests, existing gear, and what you'd expect from this club. Don't be shy to share your photos, there is no such thing as the perfect photo and we are here to learn from each other. 

You can join this club from Carnity Newbie level onwards. This ensures you have a 4x4 and can join us on the events in remote locations.

    Sorry it took me a while to upload my picture, transferring and editing a bit took a while. It was my first nighttime shoot. I honestly wasn’t even able to focus or see much of anything without @samamara & @JC_E helping me. Thank you both! I had a great time, it was lovely meeting everyone and amazed with everyone’s gadgets 😊 Thank you @Frederic for organizing this and we should definitely do it again.

    Thanks Freddie for organising this (and lending your compressor. it was fantastic and really good to meet new faces and old. My family really really enjoyed the night thanks everyone for making it nice for them. Apologies for the late arrival and holding everyone.     That's a million dollar shot! Beautiful detail! PS There is indeed a small glitch in the media gallery. For now you can just upload it in the main Media Gallery (in the upper right corner you can click on "Add Images". Media Gallery - Carnity.com Once we have all the photos i will then categorize them into the album. Oddly enough if you create an album others can't post photos inside of it. Will figure that out later.

    Media Gallery - Carnity.com Just put them in the main Media gallery. Will manually shift them into the dedicated album.

    It was crazy! And the last 60km or so into RAK was the same! Hope everyone is safe and well-rested now 😉! Wonderful shots @Frederic! Thanks so much again for the invite - it was lovely seeing and meeting everyone, and it was a lot of fun! Looking forward to the next one 😉

    Thank you all so much for joining us last night! The weather was still very much doable, the cookies delicious @Ana ,and it was so great to see old friends back in the Carnity family @samamara! Your commitment and support to drive all the way from RAK to Al Razeen is admirable. Thank you so much. I think we all had plenty of time to mess around with our camera settings, or in the case of @Zubail his bazooka 😁 and i was super impressed with everyone's results. Even @Thomas54675 that just showed up with his phone was getting stellar results! I just selected to upload two photos which i liked. One was with the 14mm Samyang f2.8 where Sam was just pointing her laser at the sky. Gives it a nice sci-fi atmosphere. The second one is with the 35mm f2.0. There's also a gallery made for this event. Feel free to put your photos also in there. See you all back in the sand! (or starry skies in this case)
