  1. @Shaaz Sha thank you for the interesting drive . the terrain was a bit challenging specially with the surprising extremely soft sand every now and then.

Honestly i didn't expect to see so much bushes and grass in the desert but that was pleasant to see.

    thanks to @Matt.T @Pacific, @Looper and @Gaurav Soni for the support .

i think we had an really good drivers in the convoy that mad this drive a wonderful experience thanks to   @Michel Van Woudenberg@Nizam Deen, @Mark D , @Tom B , @Warren Flay @Daniel Rodas, @Gilbert Khalil,@James Thorn

the only disappointment we had was with the mechanical problem of @Daniel Rodas and @Nizam Deen cars . i hope your cars will not cost so much o fix.

looking forward to see you all again soon.

i am leaving below some video's I got during the ride

Hello all of my fellow Liwa Crescent Explorers. To commemorate the successful completion of our drive, I am getting stickers printed. You can use the stickers on the rear windshield.

    Here is the sticker:

    Liwa Crescent Crossing - Sticker

    Key Details about the Sticker

    • Measures 7 cm / 2.75 in in diameter
    • The sticker calls out the days and date of the crossing
    • We had a beautiful moonrise night on the 19th which has been captured in the design
    • A red line marks the final route that was covered from Gaia

I have the following drivers from the three drive posts:

    Fewbie / 12 drivers: @Frederic + @JeromeFJ + @Karthik Raptor @AlexM @KKIRAN @Ahmad Shaker @Simon Dawood @Richard Franks @Trekado @salah2u @Salim Akhtar @Senthil Kumar

    Fewbie Plus / 9 drivers: @Gaurav + @Alphin Aloor @Looper @Zixuan Huang - Charlie @Waqas Parvez @Ashok chaturvedi @imranaasghar81 @Fabien Monleau

    Intermediate / 8 drivers: @Srikumar + @Mario Cornejo @Amir Amiri @Ranjan Das @Jorge Stepniak Felippe @Xavier Treasurer @varunmehndiratta @Ahab Shamaa

    Collecting the sticker

There is NO COST to you for a sticker, but I will have to limit one sticker per driver.

Also, I won't be able to ship a sticker out to you if you don't live in Dubai or have it delivered to you.

If any of you would like the sticker, you can either collect them from me on an upcoming drive we are in together, or I will release some locations I will be available at in the following week of the 21st.

Thanks @munkybiznessfor the great Gesture , that would be an amazing way to memories the experience we all had together  👍👍

@Hisham Masaadthank you for the wonderful and pace drive. Definitely it was an adrenaline dose drive. Surprising for this drive you without saying the words “yalla push” we were pushing from start. But after you said the magic word everyone surely had a smile on the face.
@imranaasghar81 good job as a CF. hope your younger brother enjoyed the drive. Loved his energy.
@Simon DawoodGood job as a second lead you copied @Hisham Masaadat every single step 🤫.

@Mohamad Anwerit was such a pleasure looking at the LC doing self recovery. What a car. Made it look so easy.

@Islam Solimani never had any worries while driving because you were there at the back for rescue. Thank you very much for your support. Looking forward to join your drive too.
@Hisham Masaadreload next week for Dr @M.Seidam
See you soon on the sand everyone.

well@Vaibhav i think it was longest "yalla Push" ever  that lasted for two and al half hours 🤣

Honestly you can never copy a master like @Hisham Masaad you can clearly tell by the ending of that pose 🤫

Hope adrenaline levels did not go beyond allowed. 😅. Thank you everyone for joining the drive, and I hope all enjoyed the area and it was good idea to change from Mahafiz to Bedayer. As usual all were ready on time, quick briefing and started the adventure. Many convoys today at meeting point, and managed to start before many of them, but found them in front of us. Slowly started moving and all were picking up, and looking for more. We made our way climbing dunes, and tried to make as much as we can within the time given. No issues except few side slope refusal, me @Joji varghese @Mohamad Anwer and @Simon Dawood. Some were fast clearing and one of Simon took more time. Thank @Islam Soliman for being patient and careful till the car was out. Was pleasure to meet Mr. Asghar, and happy to see he enjoyed the drive. All our friends @Vaibhav @Waqas Parvez @Daniel Rodas @imranaasghar81 @Rajiv Sam and @JamesThorn pleasure meeting you again. All were amazing during the drive. Thank you again @Islam Solimanfor supporting us today, @Simon Dawood for being SL, and @imranaasghar81 for holding CF position. Look forward to see you again in sand, and wish you a nice weekend.

    Take care

    Hisham.

Good evening, with so much excitement everyone is having, and after thinking how to push more adrenaline dose's, thought and after acceptance of all joiners, what about changing the drive to badayer. As I said earlier, mahafiz is not as good as badayer, when it comes to adrenaline levels and excitement. All are requested to confirm their acceptance to arrange.

Another wonderful drive with amazing team. All arrived ahead of time, and was ready on time. Quick briefing, and started the fun. Started warming and testing, and apparently some was think this was the drive….. no habibi… coming to badayer you need to be ready to more 😉. Upon feeling all were ready, we started our climbs, which I am not sure I can remember which was good or bad, and which one we could not make. Except the ones were we found other convoys on top, and decided to avoid and back down to reroute. @Simon Dawood being SL and first FB+ drive, you was excellent in both. No comments, but congratulations enjoying the new level.  @Daniel Rodas glad to see you again in sand in FB+ . @Joji varghese @Tom B @topgear @Vaibhav @Waqas Parvez amazing as usual, controlling and coping with the challenges. @darren thompson pleasure to see you again after long time, and thank you for being our SW today, giving all the good news that all good and moving.  Big thanks and happiness to have you @Brette today in my drive supporting. @Shaaz Sha was really nice and happy to see you today with all the big guys enjoying the drive. Dear desert friends,

Apologize  for the confusion caused between the WhatsApp notification and drive posted. At some time plan changed, since less FB+ drives were posted, and had to change this drive. Requesting FB level drivers to remove their RSVP’s, apology again for any inconvenience

  12. Hi ,

I would like to share my experience of the decision i have taken in this regards so others might have the benefit without scratching their heads over and over thinking about the way to go at least the Pajero Owners .

so in my case , as i already have a 3" lift kit i have decided to go with the bigger tires than my original ones so i have installed on my car the Geolander G015 265/65 R18 and following are my observations :

    1.  Noise in regards to the noise , i couldn't feel much of noise increase compared to my H/T  (10/10)

    2.  Drive experience sand : much better Grip and traction on sand my engine in much happier ( 10/10)

    3. Drive experience on the road: I have felt a better control ( marginal ) on the road with my old tires especially on the curves, but i think this should because of the higher tires wall , but I got used to it after a few drives  ( 9/10)

    4. Speedometer error: as per my calculations there is around 3.5% error margin in the readings of the dashboard  so if your speedometer is showing 100Km/h  you are actually driving 103.4Km/h and if your speedometer is showing 160 Km/h you are actually driving at actual speed of 165.5 Km/h . I tested this equation on my way to LIWA ( around 300KM trip ) and i didn't get any speeding tickets till now ( fingers crossed i will not get any 😂🤣) (6/10 )

    5. Tires Rubbing: i have experienced some rubbing caused by the mud flaps when going down a very steep incline and i solved it by simply removing them 😆, i might trim them later on ( 9/10 )

    6. The looks and appearance: My car looks much aggressive and better looking ( 10/10)

I would rate my total experience 9/10

One  important advice, please make sure to do the correct wheel alignment for your car after you install the bigger tires .

    cheers,
